Sigma flowers and Femina card

Hello crafty friends, Monika here.
Today I would like to show you how to make cute and super easy Sigma flowers.

Sigma cardstock are perfect for making flowers, but do you know what I love most about them? We could use punches to punch out shapes from Sigma cardstock. No machines and dies are needed. This is so simple, quick and easy way to make lots of flowers.

So here is a tutorial:
1. Punch some flowers with punches and Sigma cardstock.

2. Put the flowers to the clean water. When flowers are wet, put them on the paper towel to drain off excess water. You could colour them at this step with a paint or ink if you wish.

3. Lay each flower on the  mat face up and push down in the center of each one with embossing tool to shape.

4. The effect will be different when you use different size of the tool. Look at the picture - I used 3 different sizes of tools: the tool first from the left has 2mm, second 4mm, third 8mm.

5. Let all flowers dry, then make a hole in the center of each one.

6.  Apply some glue in the center and adhere stamens. You could also use beads or pearls instead of stamens.

This is the basic technique of making flowers, maybe you would like to learn more? If yes, please write a comment.

I played a little with Sigma cardstock and punches:

Small flowers I made are great filler to the flower cluster, look at them here, on my card.

To make this card I used beautiful papers from Femina paper pack. I love cut out sheet so I used a cute image of baloon. I also added bigger and smaller flowers made from Sigma cardstock, lace white flowers, chipboards embossed white and some green sequins.

I also decorated the inside of my card.

Papericious products used:

Green sequins

I hope you like my tutorial and inspiration.
Thank you for visiting. Have a great day!
