A Wedding Gift "Booklet + Envelope" ft. The Flickers | Photo Tutorial

Hello lovely friends,
Hope you all are doing great! This is Priti here, and I have another beautiful project to share with you. This time I have designed a project which can be a unique wedding gift for a couple. I have made a large wallet style envelope along with a photo booklet, using the newly launched gorgeous foiled Die Cut Embellishments and "The Flickers" paper pack from Papericious. These two products make such a wonderful combination.

As you can see, these gold foiled die cut embellishments in black and white go so well with the foiled pattern papers from The Flickers. I also love using the cut & create embellishments specially the "Blush" one with this paper pack. The gold and pink cut outs look amazing with the foiled papers.
So let's get started with the tutorial.

Envelope:
Step 1:

Cut 1 piece at 7.5" x10.5".

Score at 0.5" on 7.25" side and score at 0.5" and 9.75" on 10.25" side.

Apply tape on the bumpy side and miter the corners.

Step 2:

Cut 1 piece at 6 7/8"x9 1/8".

Step 3:

Layer this smaller piece on the larger piece and make sure it fits perfectly. Align the top edges, remove the tape backing and fold the flaps down to secure.

Step 4:

I made a banner flap measuring 5"x5.5" with a 0.25" gusset and also used a brad which serves as a closure to this envelope. You can use any other type of closure as well.

Booklet:
Step 1:

Cut one piece at 6.75"x8.5".

Score at 0.5" on 6.75" side.

Step 2:

Cut one piece at 6.25"x8.5".

Step 3:

Cut one piece at 5"x8.5".

Score at 0.5" on 5" side.

Step 4:

Attach these three pieces like this.

Step 5:

It's optional to add pockets to this booklet. I have added two pockets but then realized that it added a lot of bulk to the booklet. Hence, I should have probably added only one for journaling tags. The pocket shown here is attached to the opening flap of the booklet.

Step 6:

This is the second pocket which I have attached to the smallest flap.

And the booklet with the envelope is ready.

Now, let's have a look at few pics to show you how I have decorated this project.

Scrapbook Style Card ft. Billet Doux - Pictorial

Hello friends,
This is Priti here, and I am back with another inspiration project using the gorgeous "Billet Doux" from Papericious. This time I have created a Scrapbook Style Card with space for both pictures and messages, and can be gifted on any occasion. I also have a picture tutorial for you on how to create this lovely tall card.

This card measures 6.5"x8.5" and we can easily put around 10 pics with some tags and messages. The fussy cut elements from the Cut & Create Embellishment Sheets were perfect to embellish the cover page. So let's get started with the step by step tutorial.

Step 1:

Cut one piece measuring 6.5"x8.5".

Step 2:

Cut 1 piece measuring 6.5"x9.25". Score on the 9.25" side at 0.5". Apply tape on the bumpy side.

Step 3:

Cut 2 pieces -  3"x7.5".

Score 1 piece at 0.5" on the 3" side and at 0.5" and 7" on the 7.5" side.

Score the other piece at 1" on the 3" side and at 0.5" and 7" on the 7.5" side.

Apply tape on the dented side as shown in the below picture.

Step 4:

On the first pocket miter the corners where the score lines cross. And on the next piece, make the cuts as shown in the picture below.

Step 5:

Take the 6.5"x8.75" piece and stick the full pocket piece to the bottom edge.

Step 6:

Now slip the second pocket piece into the first pocket up to the score line and stick it.

Step 7:

Place this piece on top of the 6.5"x9.25" piece with the pockets at the bottom and face down. Fold down the top flap and secure. It will look like this:

And our Mini Scrapbook Style Card is ready! It's quite easy and simple right? This is how I have decorated the insides and the cover. You can place photo mats, tags, notes etc. in the pockets.

Here is the list of supplies used for this project:

I love making these small projects which make lovely gifts for anyone. I hope you like my work and will leave me some love. See you soon!

Photo Wallet ft. Billet Doux

Hello friends!
Hope you are loving the New Release from Papericious.
This is Priti here, and I am so excited to share an inspiration project using my favourite Billet Doux Collection. This is such a beautiful collection, perfect for any love themed project. So I have created a Mini Photo Album using this collection, and I call it a "Photo Wallet"I have also used several elements from the co-ordinating Cut & Create Embellishment Sheets to design the cover and embellish the inside pages.

This photo wallet can easily incorporate 15 - 20 pictures and would be a perfect gift for any special occasion. Although it has only two pages, but I added many pockets which hold quite a few photo mats. I also did an acetate pocket which you can see in the picture below. And for the closure, I chose to use a magnetic flap for a very simple yet elegant look. As for the cover, I cut some flowers, leaves and butterflies from the Cut & Create Embellishment sheet of the Billet Doux Collection, to go along with the floral cluster on the pattern paper. The sentiments provided on the sheet are so beautiful.

I love the simplicity of this project and how we can show the beautiful papers along with the photos.
