"Love" Scrapbook Layout ft. 'The Flickers'

Hello friends!
This is Priti here, and I am sure you are loving the new release from Papericious. Everything is just so gorgeous and I was totally swooned by my first DT kit :) I am happy to share a beautiful scrapbook page featuring The Flickers Paper Pack and the new Shaker Chippies.
This colour combination of gold, red and black, and the most amazing foil papers were just perfect for me to create a scrapbook page with a picture from this year's Diwali. The paper quality is so good and the patterns are just lovely. I chose two sheets for my background and applied some White Gesso on the black paper to tone down the colour and the print, for my page composition. The foiled roses stole my heart and so I cut out few roses in gold and red from the pattern papers and arranged them in a circle to form a wreath. The shine on these papers is absolutely stunning!

For the title, I chose to use the Mono LOVE Shaker Chipboard which I painted with Papericious Natural White Chalk Paint and filled it with some red sequins. The picture was matted on two pieces of different pattern papers and I just loved the way this layout came together :)

I also added a gold paper clip, some gold splatters and hearts from the "Love Actually" Cut & Create Embellishment Sheets.

Here are some more pictures of my layout with few close ups:

SUPPLIES USED:

I hope you are enjoying all the inspiration projects from the design team. We are having a great time, creating with all these amazing supplies. Please do leave us some love and share your views on the new release. See you soon!

Butterfly Card using " The Flickers" Collection

Butterfly Card using "The Flickers" Collection

Hello friends!
This is Nandini, and I am so glad  to share my first inspiration project. Here I am sharing a card designed with a gorgeous paper collection named as " The Flickers"

This paper collection is just perfect to make pretty cards, envelopes, and scrapbook layouts. To start with the card, take a  card paper measuring 5" X 7".  Stick the layers of golden and white paper in the background. This card comprises of  two design papers and to give the subtle look. I covered the second design with Papericious Vellum Paper. I chose to cut flowers from the background sheet for a beautiful card. Pro Tip: Cut the flowers sharply along the border for a neat look. Also to enhance its beauty, I used the images from  the Cut and Create "Blush" Collection. Cut the leaves and stick it using foam tape. Onto the last step stick all the fussy cuttings of flowers, leaves, and butterfly in a beautiful composition.

Some more picture of the card:

Supplies Used:

Hope you all have enjoyed this card. Thank you for stopping with us!
Do not forget to leave some love & comments for me.

Christmas Photobook Layout ft. 'The Flickers' | Pictorial

Hola Dear Crafters!

Kirti Gupta here. I am so glad to share with you my first project as a design team member for Papericious. We all know, when it comes to trying something different and bold with paper prints, only Papericious can do it, and this time they have come up with this super fantastic foiled Paper pack in the combination of Black-White-Copper-Gold-Red, named 'The Flickers'

Its already December and when you see Red and White Christmas bells starts ringing in your mind. So, embracing the spirit of this festival of joy I have created a Photobook page comprising 7 years of Christmas pics of my son.

So, This is a picture heavy layout, hence calling it Photo book page layout. I have combined watercoloring, Added Papericious Vellum for Punch Border and used gold on white sheet from paper pack 'The Flickers'

Lets have a look at Step wise Tutorial here.

Step 1: I took a White Cardstock and prepped its one part of side for water coloring using water.
Step 2: Then, I colorwashed Blue watercolor for background and handpainted a Christmas tree to add the feel of Christmas.
Step 3: Later, I added some White Gesso sprinkles and layered beautiful white sheet with gold foil pattern paper from the Paper Pack "The Flickers" I have punched the border from Papericious Vellum Sheet and added it to the intersection of pattern paper and watercoloring part (as seen in the picture)
Step 4: Next I added Christmas Ornaments which are circle die cuts from another two sheets using foam tape, to add dimension.
Step 5: Finally completed the page, with pictures, quote and some Christmas word stickers. I have also added two strips horizontally punched to the right side of my page.
I am totally in love with the kind of Christmas-y look I have been able to achieve using the pattern papers from The Flickers. I hope you too like this page and feel inspired to try this royal paper pack in your projects.

Hi everyone!
This is DT Member Shweta here with my inspiration project on this month's challenge theme Sparkle and Shine with a Twist. We need to create a project that sparkles and shines and use a chipboard embellishment to add to the twist.
I have created a Birthday Layout to document the memories of my son on his 3rd birthday we recently celebrated. To create this layout, I've used two different pattern papers from The Flickers Paper Pack which are gold foiled and are super shiny. I have overlayed the pattern papers on one another to add to the appeal.
Then using the picture of my son as the focal point, I made a composition of handmade paper flowers and die cuts from my stash. The paper flowers are handmade from Papericious Sigma Cardstock and sprinkled with Papericious Crystal Clear Powder for that extra glittery effect. I have also used the Papericious Happy Birthday 3D Shaker Chippie here as the twist element and added a touch of the above mentioned glitter.

Supplies Used:
