Altered Photo Frame -- Believe

Namaste Friends!!

Kriti this side....so the month is ending....and I am here with an inspiration post today....
I have altered a photo frame using some art mediums by papericious and Papericious Fairy land Paper Pack.

Have a look..

We all experience times where we doubt ourselves, and somehow we lose track of what's important for us. We lose the belief in ourselves, and we get drifted away, and later on we regret our decisions, that's why I decided to make a project so that failure can be our teacher not our undertaker.

If you believe in yourself and have dedication- and never quit, you'll be a winner. Believe in yourself, take on the challenges, dig deep within yourself to conquer fears. You got to keep going.

Brief about the project

Firstly, I have taken a mdf photo frame and adhere some rectangle mdf pieces to make some bricks at two corners, then to make the background more interesting put some gauge also. Next, covered the entire piece with Papericious White Gesso.

After that I have used Papericious White Crackle Paste on the bricks. When it was completely dried, poured some pink colour in the gaps of the bricks.

And lastly embellished it with some flowers, sisal, gauge, pearls and few die- cuts.

Few more pictures of the project...

I hope you like this project..
Thanks for stopping by..

Simple and Quick cards with Gilded Onyx

12:00 am Erum Tasneem 1 Comments

Hi friends!
I have quick and simple cards to share with you today. I have used Gilded Onyx Paper Pack and a couple of Papericious chippies.

For the card above, I die cut a circle out of black and gold cardstock. I then glittered two chipboard feathers and adhered them onto the circle die.
In the end, I added a stacked die cut "Thanks".
For my next card, instead of following the same design I used the black and gold script pattern paper as a full card front. To this, I adhered two butterfly die cuts.
In the end, I popped up a stip of off-white cardstock and glued my stacked die cut sentiment onto it.

The papers in this pack are so gorgeous that you don't need to do much with the cards.
I hope you liked the cards I shared today.
Thank you for stopping by.

Elegant You! Mini waterfall album

11:00 am Daksha Popat 1 Comments

Hello! Friends
Today's post is an inspirational one and I have made a mini waterfall album...size 7"x8.5". I wanted to make a simple, sweet  and without any chunky emblishment or mulberry flowers ..to fit more n more 4"x6" photos.so here it is
To decorate front of my album I have used Papericious Monochrome papers, few scraps from guilded onxy, mdf mini shakers.. which I have colored with Papericious black chalk paints.inside I have used sentiment stamp ,microbeads and crystal clear glitter.
Here I have used Prima doll ( Aurora) ,but these monochrome papers are so pretty that you can use any prima doll and it will go with that..
For doll part..first I have stamp with versafine black ink on watercolor paper..then each dress folds I have stamped on different pattern papers.. fussy cut and coloured with distress inks. Then glued to it's place..to give dimensions in few places I have used foam dots...Dress part in few places highlighted with glossy accent n crystal clear glitter. Face, hand and hair part colored with zig water Colors.. Finally decorated using chippies, metal charms, buttons, glass dome emblishment and sentiments from Tim haltz sentiment sheet.

Inside one side I have waterfall which can  hold 16 photos and other side I have cascading waterfall style which can fit 21 photos in 4"x6" size. Inside I wanted to keep simple so used only ribbon ,pearls and sentiment.

Easy Mixed Media Cards

11:00 am Dotstolines 1 Comments

Hello everyone,

Sunila and Aditi here to share a few mixed media ideas. Mixed media is all about layers, and it isn't as complex as it appears to be.

Today we'll share some ideas of using the Papericious Decoupage Papers and Mixed Media Mediums together and create two cards.

Here's the first card:

For this card, we first cut out the image of the girl from the decoupage paper. On a piece of watercolour paper, we first misted it with water and added yellow and black paint randomly. We then placed the image of the girl and using a stencil sprayed pink colour. We then added some stamping randomly with purple colour. We used decoupage glue to adhere the image onto the background and completed it by adding a sentiment. You could mount this on a cardstock base as a card or leave it as it is as a Journal Page.  Here are some close-ups:

Onto the next one now. For this piece, we first tore the coordinating decoupage paper randomly and using decoupage glue stuck it onto white cardstock. We then gave it a layer of watery white gesso and dried it. Next, we mixed two paints with modelling paste and added texture using a stencil. Next, we added some splatter with the pink spritz. We coloured a pattern chipboard with the same paints and layered some lace and flowers. We completed it with a sentiment and some sequins.

Hope we've inspired you with our creation:)!
