GIft Box Using Fairy Land Papers

Hi All!

It's Priya here sharing a box that I made using Fairy Land Papers. Oh boy! the papers are so so gorgeous! The roses, fairies, butterflies, foliage.. All blend together so well in this pack. The paper pack comes with 4 glossy cream cardstock and coordinating die cut sheets and sentiments that you don't have to worry about adding embellishments.

Here is what I made.

Another view.

I made a 8x8 box with 4 inches in height. I made the box with the cream cardstock that comes with it. The cardstock is very sturdy to make a gift box. I matted the box with beautiful roses pattern paper from the same Fairy Land paper pad.

I also matted the inside of the base box with wooden pattern paper included in the kit.

The die cut sheet has such gorgeous elements which are easy to fussy cut. I used butterflies, fairy and roses from the die-cut sheet.

The kit also has sentiments sheets matching with the theme of the pack. I did some ink blending on the sentiment so that it matches with the color palette.
I created shaker element as well to create a centerpiece for the box front and added Blush sequin mix.

A Gift

Hello everyone!
How are you all doing? Erum here today from VIBGYOR Krafts.
I have a special project to share with you and a tip.
I have used Faiy Land papers again for my project!
What can I say, the papers are beautiful in this pack and you keep on reaching for them!
Here is my project.

Papericious Fairy Land papers, project by @pr0digy0

This is a table art that's going to my cousin's teacher.
She will get it framed with a stand and also a hanging option.
The two main roses are handmade. I wanted to give this a very winter-like effect.
The thing is, this paper pack is not winter-like at all! In fact it has yellows and greens, which gives it a very Spring like feel.

So what I did was, I gesso-ed it up to tone down the other colours a bit but not a lot so you can still see the beautiful floral pattern.
You can see in the above photo that I kept my hand very light at the application of gesso.
I also added some pink watercolour to the paper and lots and lots of glitter!!

And then there is this beauty - Moroccan Lattice chipboard.
I painted it with Picket Fence stain and sprinkled glitter over it.

That is all from my side today! I hope you liked my project.
I also hope you will find my technique helpful, if you ever want to tone down a pattern paper just apply a bit of Gesso.

A Little Magic in everything Layout

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Papericious post.

This is Irit here from Irit Shalom's Designs and today I am going to share my " All about Me" layout.

When I first saw this most gorgeous Fairy Land Papericious collection the first thing I thought was a " Fairy Door". I know that most of us are thinking Wedding and Girls and Spring and all other Fairy things. I thought that I need to make a page for myself, about myself and with myself as I am the one who believes in magic and fairies and all things between.
So I spent quite a while to look for a photo that can be a kind of a Fairy door and I didn't find any.
So I was pretty much creative and I made collaged photo using two different photos- one was the window view and one was my photo  with ugly background. The window really looks as a Fairy window/door because of it's shape.
So I cut  my own image and glued it over the window with 3d foam glue and BINGO! I have a pretty photo that can be scrapped and the window shape is just perfect as it reminds the fairy door...(if you do believe in Fairies).
The page was made with a lot of dimension and layers.
I used one cardstock as the base of my layout and made a hand cut frame from another cardstock that was added with 3D foam glue over the base.
The title was die cut with oval stitched die from this collection sentiment cardstock and colored with Distress inks to fit the page.

Most of the embellishments were hand cut and added layers over layers on this page.
Here you can see the Brick chipboard piece, that was cut into 2 parts and inked with a bit of brown Distress ink.
Over the chipboard I layered hand cut leaves and flowers and Fairies were added  all over this page.
The sheet of cut out just "worked" extra hours... LOL

Here you can see the other side of the chipboard that actually was under the photo.

And more close- ups that show the dimension and layering of the elements.

I added  the cord frame using Jute cord  in natural color to connect the whole page together.

Layout with Fairy Land Collection!

 Hello,

This is Ujjwal sharing a layout I created using the gorgeous Fairy Land papers. The colors and elements were a perfect match for this particular photo of my daughter that was taken about 2 years ago.

I fussy cut out the element sheet from the collection and used those with dimensional adhesive as accents on the layout. Also added a bit of Ivory jute cord for some interest.

I also used a few different Chippis from Ohh Baby! and The Wedding and covered them with gesso before adding to the layout.

Also, added some of the collage sheet elements with dome stickers from older release.

I hope you like this layout and I will see you again next time!
