Quick cards using The Wedding kit

Hello! Erum here today to share with you a couple of quick cards using products from The Wedding kit..
I have used very few pieces from the cut and create embellishment sheet. There are so many more cards that I could create  using this kit, I promise to share more cards in the future.
.

What I did was cut out the pieces that I thought would go together.
Actually these pieces are for three cards that I originally planned to show you but ran out of time to make the third one! YIKES!
Anyhoo!
Here is the first set I came up with up.

 And here is the second.

The one I shared above had only two elements that I liked together so I thought I'd add some lace from the kit. Below are the cards together.

Let's look at the first card.

Since we were making quick, CAS cards I thought I should definitely add some watercolour to the background. I wasnt very happy with just the watercolour so added partial stamping too.
To add a bit of texture I added this lace butterfly from the kit, isn't it just beautiful?!
Everything you see here apart from the stamps and the rose is from The Wedding kit, including the twine and sequins.
Don't get me started on how beautiful the sequins look in person!!!

On to the next card.

For this one I wanted to give the card a very soft look because of the elements I used here.
The cake, banners and the "We Do" sentiment all are in pastel colours and they look very pretty.
I added very light watercolouring to the background along with gold heat embossing.

Here is a closer look at the elements and the beautiful sequins.

I hope I got some of those crafty juices flowing!
Take out your kit, take this particular sheet out and start brainstorming!
I would love it if you could share on our Facebook page and tag me.
Also, if you like to see more quick cards out of The Wedding kit, do let me know and I will have another post ready for you!
That's all from my side today. Don't forget to check out our CURRENT challenge
Hugs and love,

Shagun Envelope Tutorial - Dimensional Gift Envelopes for cash gifts!

Hello,

This is Ujjwal and today I am sharing a tutorial on how to make a dimensional gift envelope or a shagun envelope. Cash gifts are pretty common in India, especially at weddings, so I thought it would be fun to create a dimensional envelope using The Wedding Collection Kit.

And here's how the back side looks like. I added a pearl with twine to the flap for little more interest.

And here's how I made it.
Start with a 9.75" X 7.5" piece of cardstock. I used the beautiful pearl cardstock from "The Wedding" Kit.
Score and cut as per the template below.

This is how the cardstock will look like after scoring.

At this point, you can decide how to decorate and what kind of closure you would want for the back flap of the envelope. I decided to give the flap a simple triangular cut and a velcro closure but you can use decorative dies, laces or whatever else you fancy. Instead of velcro, you could use a magnetic or a ribbon closure.

Fold the envelope and glue the bottom flap so that it forms the envelope shape like this

And then decorate and embellish as you like. I used the pattern papers from "The Wedding" Collection, some mulberry flowers and pollens and liquid pearls to decorate the front. I left the back simple with a little twine and pearl add on.

I hope you enjoyed this project and tutorial!

Papericious - Anniversary Wall Art

The three main roses are handmade, gorgeous paper by Papericious.

Hello everyone! This is Erum here today and I am super excited to share my project with you.
I made a wall art on order using the beautiful paper from The Wedding paper pack.

The three main roses are handmade, gorgeous paper by Papericious.

The three main roses are handmade. I added some black stamping on the background and to make it more fitting for an anniversary I added gold embossing as well.
The black butterflies and sentiment labels look really good against the background.
Though the paper from The Wedding kit is beautiful and needs no additional work, the gold embossing looks beautiful on it.
Here is a closer look.

The paper took embossing really well and didn't left any extra flecks since I brushed it off with Pick-Stick before stamping.
The amazing thing about Pick-Stick is that it turns any sticky (or humid in my case) completely non sticky. This is a product you MUST have.

That is all from my side today. Remember our October "Add some Fabric" challenge went live yesterday, you can check out the post HERE.
See you soon!

Wedding mini album

Hello.
This is my 1st post and I am extremly excited!

Have you seen the amazing wedding Kit? I coul not wait to start creating with it.
I would love to show you the mini album with flaps I made.

This is the front of the mini album. What a gorgeus fabric flower with such a beautiful details.
The sequins comes in many colors and shapes. I just love them.
Wedding sign is from the Wedding Scrapbook Pattern Papers.

The side of the album I decirated with the pearls from the kit and the sequins in between.

The patterns ar really lovely. It is both vintage and shabby chic look. Very romantic.

I used few of the adhesive buttons to decorate the album. I made a little frame  from the clay and painted it with acryl color and covered with inka gold to get the vintage style. Inside I used a mini glas bottle and I filled in with diferent sequins.
