Here's a look at the panels:

Here's a step by step quick tutorial:

Step 1: Prime the canvas using Papericious Heavy White Gesso

Step 2: Add texture to the panels. Using a stencil apply Papericious White Crackle Paste.

Step 3: Add colour. Use Papericious Spritz Sprays and mist them with water to blend them. Leave a few white spaces.

Step 4: Paint chipboard elements with Papericious Chalk Paints.

Step 5: Fussy cut elements from the Papericious Whimsical Collection, and pick other embellishments- lace, chippies, etc.

Step 6: Layer and adhere the elements on to the canvas panels to complete them.

Wall Decor with decoupage papers

Namaste Friends!!

Kriti here today...and I have a quick tutorial for a beautiful Wall Décor that I had made using Papericious Decoupage Papers, Chalk Paints, Crackle Paste, Decoupage Glue, White Gesso, Cardstocks and Paper Pack Blush.

Have a look...

Let's see how I have created this..

I have collected few things like chipboard, cardstock, glue, white gesso, chalk paint, acrylic paint, crackle paste, decoupage papers, decoupage glue and some embellishments.

First cut the chipboard of size 10" x 8" for the base and for the frame cut four pieces of chipboard of size 10" x 1.5" and four pieces of 5" x 1.5". Paste these rectangular pieces over the base to make the frame( We have to paste 2 rectangle chipboards on each side to get the depth for the frame). And then cover the whole frame with white gesso.

Now, cover the whole base using Country Grey Chalk Paint.

Next mix the pink acrylic paint with white crackle paste and apply all over it.

Now its the time to adhere my decoupage paper, so I have cut few flowers from the Pretty Peonies Decoupage Papers and adhere them with the help of decoupage glue. And then put a beautiful sheet from my favourite collection Blush onto the base.

After that I had embellished it with some flowers, doilies, die-cuts and a sentiment from Tim- Holtz wood mounted stamp. And voila...its ready

I hope you have like this project and you will try this out.

Decoupage on MDF box

 Hi friends,
Welcome to this blog post and today and we are gonna play with the gorgeous Papericious Decoupage Papers which were released in September 2017. The papers are perfectly coordinated and extremely vibrant and gorgeous. They come in two sizes 6"x6" and 8"x8"which makes it perfect for smaller projects too without causing any wastage.

The Special decoupage glue is my new best friend as it is glossy and gives us enough time to position the paper and once decided sticks it forever. It is also available in two packages and you can pick any.

For today's project I also used the White Crackle paste and it is stunning! I love the gorgeous cracks on my project and here is a close up shot for you. Isn't it beautiful!!!

So I took an old MDF box and decided to amp it up using the decoupage papers. I cleaned the box nicely and prepared it for priming. I love the Papericious white gesso and covered the box from inside as well as outside. I allowed it to dry completely.

For the next step I added a lot of Papericious crackle paste and I will highly recommend it if you wish to get the most beautiful crackle effect on your mixed media projects or decoupage projects...

Next I added a brown stain all over the box so that I get a more vintage aged effect as the stain seeps in the cracks and a gorgeous effect is created .

I used my super sharp pair of scissors to cut around the flower cluster and that will go on top of the box. I have used a 6"x6" paper here.

I adhered the paper patch using the amazing Papericious Decoupage glue and that finished the project. The box is a gorgeous piece of art which can hold your jewellery or can be gifted to someone with chocolates filled in it.

I hope you liked this decoupage project and do check out all the other wonderful project my team mates have created for you. I am sure you will love working with the Papers and art mediums launched by Papericious.
See you soon
take care
love

Diwali Gifts -- Style it up (Step by Step Tutorial)

Namaste Friends!!

This is Kriti and today I am here with a tutorial using Papericious Diwali Release.

I have created four mixed media panels using Papericious Diwali chipboards and their newly launched art mediums Gesso, soft gel, crackle medium and modelling paste. These can be framed and can be given as a gift too.

Let's see how I have created this..

Firstly I have collected few things like chipboard, gauge, ribbon, cord, gesso, soft gel, modelling paste, crackle paste, few acrylic colours, sparkle and Papericious chippies.

First cut the chipboard into four pieces of size 6" x 4.5" and apply Papericious soft gloss gel.

Coat the chippies with white gesso

Adhere the gauge with soft gel

Next adhere the cord and ribbon.

Cover the entire surface with white gesso

Next I have applied Papericious crackle paste at few places. Using modelling paste and stencil made few bubbles also and at some places applied modelling paste and tapped it with palette knife to make few more interesting textures.

After that arranged the chippies.

I have coloured the chippies with brown acrylic paint and put some sparkle over it to give some more festive touch. And coloured these four panels with different shades and sprayed some water so that the colour can flow.

Lastly arranged all the chippies over these panels.

These are some final pics.

You can see how perfect these crackles are

Now moving onto another project which I have made using Papericious Happy Diwali Limited edition paper pack.

For this I have recycled two boxes. I have applied Bracket green, Soft Rock and French Blue Chalk paints first on the edges and then adhered the paper with soft gloss gel over the boxes and after that I have used Papericious decoupage glue to cover the entire surface to increase its life.

And here is the project

I hope you have liked these projects and you will try these out. Very simple and easy to make yet elegant.
