Birthday layout with tutorial

Hello everyone,

its Kavitha here today and i am sharing a layout tutorial with "Happy birthday" collection.
This collection is so happy and bright and i  just love the prints. So i decided to make a birthday theme layout for a little girl. This is totally different from my usual mixed media layouts, its clean and cluttered style with more of colors and layers and still with lots of white space left, hope you like this attempt of mine.

I took a rough 12 by 12 sheet and planned my layout first.I marked the the area where i want the pattern paper, cut them out n used as template.
Using the template i cut the pattern papers as shown
Now i glued down the papers and used a fussy cut banner from the pattern paper collection
I cut down some pattern papers in various sizes from the collection for my layers,as my base is white and the pattern papers also has more white i used some papers from pretty basics collection for my first layer so that it will elevate the layout from the background(both the collections matches so well).
I used lots of stickers  and enamel dots to make it more fun n colorful
Few close ups..

Thank you for stopping by.

Happy crafting,

Cards with Happy Birthday collection

Hello and good morning! ^__^
I'm Halak and today I'm gonna show you some colorful projects that I made using the Happy Birthday paper pack.
You'd think that this collection is titled Happy Birthday so it can be used for just that, right? Wrong!
It's got a bunch of gorgeous papers in fun and vibrant colors that can be used for a variety of projects!
I used sheets from this stack to make : a card + co-ordinating bookmark set and the second project is a CAS congratulations card.
These are the 4 sheets that I used for my projects :
So pretty! ^__^ That banner design sheet is my absolute favorite because it has so many lovely patterns in different colors that can be cut up and used individually or in totality as a banner.
That's what I did! I cut out butterflies from the banner and made this CAS card :
Added glitter to the solid butterflies and some sequins to finish it off.
The colors and patterns on this stack are so gorgeous, trust me, projects using these do not need a lot of embellishments, the pattern papers are quite the show-stoppers on their own!
Here's the card and bookmark set :

This card (RHS) is an interesting project. I wanted to use butterflies but wanted to do a bit of stamping on them so this is what I did.
Keeping the banner partial, I punched out the butterflies so that I get some color on the butterflies along with some white space to stamp sentiment onto. (Cool huh?)
Assembled the butterflies and adhered them. Then stamped the sentiment. Added a bit of glitter to the tiny butterflies and adhered some sequins.
(Yep, the ribbon is attached with a staple pin! I love mixing up different elements in a project!)
Also, did you notice, all 4 edges of this card are of a different size. ^__^
So, don't be afraid to experiment! Mix it up a bit!
I hope my projects inspired you to look at stuff differently and make the most out of it!
Thank you so much for stopping by! *Big Panda Hugs*

Card in a Box with 'Happy Birthday' Collection

Hello everyone,
This is Hussena here and I'm sharing a card in a box today which I have made using the papers from our latest release- Happy Birthday. This is a very vibrant and bright collection with lot of fun colours and prints. This collection would make a perfect birthday album, card, birthday favours, the list is endless! Because the prints and the colours are so fun, I thought it would be perfect for a card in a box project and here's what I have created :

I have mainly used the rainbow dots and chevron papers from this collection which are layered on a white cardstock. To make the fun dangling embellishments which is the main focal of the card, I have fussy cut them from various papers in this collection and stuck them on acetate. The balloons, the cake, the gifts- are so, so pretty in real life :) For the balloons, I have punched out the balloon image using a balloon punch.

For additional embellishing on the side panels, I have stamped and die-cut a few elements including the sentiment in the centre and my project was ready! :)

I hope you enjoyed seeing my today's project and are inspired to give this collection a try. Like I said earlier, the possibilities with this collection are endless. Stay tuned for some amazing inspiration by our Design team members using the May Release.

Our challenge #2 is also live where the theme is - Vintage. Do check out all the details HERE. We would love to see your take on the challenge!

Have a nice day everyone!
