Pop Up Gift Card Holder Card

Good Morning!
Choosing the right gift is always a difficult task, despite (or rather because of!!!) so many online & in store gifting options nowadays. Gift cards have made this task so much convenient. So today I have a quick handmade card which doubles as a gift card holder too.
This one measures 5.5" x 4.25" & holds a gift card that pops up when opened.
Let me quickly take you through the steps to make this -

Trim the Cardstock to 5.5" X 8.5", score at 4.25"on the 8.5 side. This is the card base.
Trim the polka dot pattern paper to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" & glue it to the front of the card base.
Use some die cuts & fussy cuts to embellish the card as you wish.
  • To make the pop up holder we need 2 pieces of pattern paper measuring 5"x5" scored at 1/2", 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" and 4"

Using a bone folder crease the scored lines & make 2 rectangles by gluing the right edge of the 1/2"tab.To make the holder adhere tape to the ends only. Attach to the second box.

This is a fun way to give gift card holders & by changing the papers can be made for all occasions. I always have a few of these handy.

Photo Frame ft. Little Miss Muffet - Tutorial

Hello People!
Chirali this side with a quick photo frame tutorial from Papericious' Little Ms. Muffet Paper Pack.
Here it is:

Let's start with the tutorial:

I cut 1 piece of millboard and 1 of white paper of 12.25"x12.25" and selected one sheet from Little Ms. Muffet which will work as a main background of the frame.
Then I cut two millboard pieces shaped as shown in picture to make a frame stand. You can go for simple rectangle too.
Stick them to white paper and cut the edges as shown and glue them to the millboard.

I attached the stand with brads to the big millboard piece in the centre.

And added one small stripe below the stand too, as shown in picture.

Front will look like this.
Now glue white paper on the board and then patterned paper on the white paper.

Cut 9 white papers measuring 3.25"x3.25" and round 2 alternate edges of each. Cut 9 patterned papers measuring 3"x3" inches of your choice.

The basic frame will look like this. I added each white and patterned paper with the help of foam tape.
Time to decorate! My final outcome is here:

Some close-ups:

I have added so many fussy cut elements to decorate the same. I can now add 6 pictures in this frame, leaving 3 as a decorated parts.

I hope you liked it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Chirali :)

Money Envelopes are something that can be used in any season, & in any festival. I've made two envelopes, one for a Baby Girl in the shades of pink, & one for Baby Boy in the shades of brown.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL

STEP-1
Take one piece of white cardstock of size 7.5"x7.5" & one piece of black cardstock of size 7.5"x7.5".

STEP-2
Score both the pieces of cardstock at 3" from one side & then turn the piece & score at 0.5" & 7". Fold the scoring lines & chop off the extra parts.

STEP-3
* For Baby Boy - I've taken two small pieces & adhered them on the base & made small pocket of size 3.25"x1" & made two Tags from the Tags available in the Paper Pack, & adhered paper sentiment of  Best Wishes from Double Sided Tape.

* For Baby Girl - I've tried giving layers, pasted pink cardstock on the base & on the top I've adhered the pattern paper. Decorated the envelope with a bow & paper sentiment of Congratulations. I've made the Bow from We R Punch Board, & if you don't have the Punch Board you can make a Bow from a ribbon also.

Tutorial : Cute Name Banner using Little Ms. Muffet Pattern Papers

Hello everyone!
Parul here with yet another inspiration post. Today I am sharing a Name Nanner I have made for my 3 months old niece Anayta. :) She is planning to come to my place next month and I thought it will be good to have a name banner for her room. :)

I have used two pattern paper packs to make this banner, first being Little Ms. Muffet and second being, Pretty Pixie. The left paper with polka dots is from Little Ms. Muffet and I chose this paper to make base for my banner's pennants. Second paper on right side with stripes is from Pretty Pixie. I loved these ombre stripes on it and thought of cutting letters from it.
And here you can have a look at the banner.

Tutorial

Step 1
Cut 4"x4" squares from polka dot pattern paper and round their corners using corner punch.
Step 2
Cut alphabets in the name with the help of alphabet dies or digital die cutting machine.
Step 3
Adhere the alphabets on the pennants with the help of foam tape to give them some dimension and they now look as following.
Step 4
Now you need to fussy cut some elements from Pretty Pixie Pattern Papers like I did or you can use other embellishments from your stash.
Step 5
Now embellish all the pennants however you like.
Step 6
Now make two holes in each pennant at same place with a normal punch and pass a matching ribbon through all pennants.

And the banner is ready to use :)
Hope you liked the tutorial post. Please let me know in comments.
