Treat Boxes using Hooked Paper Collection

Hello everyone,
Priya here again. Today, I have two Treat Boxes to share
 using Papericious HOOKED Collection.

Instructions :
Start with a 6*8 1/2 inch piece of White Cardstock and
score at 2'' vertically, turn and score at 2'', 4'', 6'', and 8''.

Cut the bottom 2'' square panels up to the 2'' mark and fold along scored marks.
Trim off bottom right tab and add double sided tape to where you will be forming the box
(I also used a Heart Die to make a heart shaped window in my box).

Make a lid out of a 41/8'' square piece and score all four sides of the paper at 1'' and glue them.

Add a piece of Acetate Sheet and form the box and decorate the box with Pattern Papers and Embellishments.

2nd Treat Box

Instructions:
You'll need a 4" X 12'' cardstock or Pattern Paper.
Position the paper as seen in picture and score at 6''.

Turn the paper and make a little notch at the 2'' mark , repeat on the opposite end.

Line up the notch and the centre score and score a
line connecting the two points .

Repeat on all sides and you'll end up with a diamond shape scored out.

Fold along the diagonal lines.
You have just finished making a little Treat Box.

Now, you can embellish the box as you want.
Here is my sweet Treat Box designed with lovely Hooked Patterned Papers.

That's all from me today!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you give one of these
cute little boxes a try soon!
Love,
Priya

Treat Boxes with Minimal Embellishments

Hello everyone!
Parul here with some treat boxes! Tropical party theme is quite popular among kids. And it's one of my favourite too because of the colours it carries. Those pineapples,  flamingos and tropical leaves.. I love everything about it.
The paper pack Fleur Fun from the latest release has got those colours too. So I thought of making treat boxes :)
Aren't these pretty? They will be great for any summer party right?
These patterns are so colourful and bright that they don't need much embellishments. I adhered flowers made from this same paper pack for closure of these treat boxes with wooden clips.
I am hoping that you will like my project. Do check out the projects of other DTs as well. They are doing wonders with Papericious products.
Also are you playing along with current challenge "Make your own Embellishments" ? It's so much fun! I hope to see your entries there :)

Thanks!
Love and Hugs,
Parul

Papericious Back to Basics - Kids Party Favors

Hi All!
This is Priya here! Today I have a super cute project to share that I made using Papericious August release that is Back to Basics paper pad. It's a sequel of very famous Papericious Pretty Basic paper pad. These are some trendy designs and awesome colors. I love the fact that it's available in 6x6 size as well apart from regular 12x12 inches size. Perfect for card maker and paper crafter like me.
Let's get on to the project I made. Since the papers were so colorful and chic, I decided to try something different and make kids party favor. I made little bags filled with bookmarks
For the little bags, I used chevron pattern from the 12x12 paper pad. I used Lawn Fawn goodie bag dies to create the bag. For the little bow, I used checker pattern from 6x6 paper pad and die cut it using Lil Inker's small bow dies.
Here is a closeup of the little bow. Isn't it cute? I adhered a little rhinestone as well to embellish the bow.
For the bookmarks, I used papers from 6x6 paper pad. These are 6x2 inches in size and I was able to use up my extra colored images which were leftovers from other projects. I finished these bookmarks by adding some twine.
Here is a closeup of all the cute images on the bookmark. The colors of these papers are so subtle that I was able to mix and match the images with pattern papers in no time.
and here is a glimpse of all things together. Just imagine how cute it will look in a birthday party. It will surely add fun element in your party decor as well!
and I couldn't resist sharing another picture that I was able to capture showing bag full of bookmarks!
I really hope you guys liked this project. Back to Basics is a must have for any paper crafter. I will surely stock up my stash with these pretty papers. I know I am gonna use it so often!
