Jungle Scene Theme Cards for Kids

Hi All,

This is Priya here from Priya-n-Papers. I am here today to share 2 super cute jungle themed cards. I have used Papericious back to Basics paper pad to make these. The simplicity and trendy pattern of this pack makes it my instant choice to make fun cards using dies. The colors are so fun as well to play with.
One of the card is pop up card. The jungle scene pops up when you open the card. Here it is.
For this card, I used green checkered paper to create the background. I have mixed and matched Papericious papers with plain cardstock.
I came up with my own dimensions to create the grassy scenes. I have used Back to Basics papers extensively to create the clouds, water and jungle critters.
On to the second card. The front panel of my second card is almost as like the first one, only difference is the background. I used 2 different color papers to make the background.
This card isn't a pop up card, but I have created a variation of jungle scene to showcase how we can use our papers and dies in different ways.
Here is inside of 2 cards opened together.
I had absolutely fun creating these! The sentiment say "It's your special day, Go Wild, Party Animal".  I am sure kids will love these!

Wrapped treat boxes

Hi there lovely people,
Lekha here with my new post. With festive season nearing we all look forward to some gifting ideas  and with that comes the search for pretty gift boxes. In my last post  I had showed you options for treat bags and today will be sharing some ready to adorn treat boxes from Papericious. These boxes are sturdy, pre scored and taped so you only have to get your inner creative self at work.  The treat boxes come in variety of shapes.
For the first I am using the circle flap box. Used pattern paper from the Limited edition Happy Diwali paper pack and die cut it using the Spellbinders Swirl Bliss pocket die and embellished it with pearls.

For the top of the box have used the mulberry paper flowers in bright colors. The sentiment in Hindi "shubh diwali" is part of the DIWALI THEME CHIPBOARDS, you have a variety of sentiments to choose from .

For the second, took cake pie box and used the Back to Basics paper pack. Chevrons are my personal favorite.
To jazz up a little used lace from my stash with some crystals.
The "wishes" is cut using the Winnie n Walter Wishes cutaway die .

We have more such ideas from our designer team members on the blog, do visit us for more ideas.
Hope you like creative mashup(new term coined by me).
Thanks for stopping by!

Gifting ideas with Die Cut Boxes

Hello everyone,
Today we are so thrilled! It's our first post for Papericious this term and it's a dream come true!

The Papericious September release has so many fun products, especially the die cut boxes for the coming festive season.

These boxes come in a pack of 5 with different shapes, pre- scored and pre-taped in a stiff 350g Ivory Paper. They are sturdy enough for stenciling with various mediums, spraying with colors and inking.

The best thing is these make great gift boxes for any occasion.

Today we've picked three of these boxes and designed them. Here's a look at them.

Popcorn Box

For this box, we used the Azealian Paper pack. We've alternated two patterned papers for the sides inside and out. To embellish, we die cut a lace border and a doily and layered it. We completed it with some mulberry friends.

Favor Box with Handle

For this box, we used the Indie Chic Paper pack and cut some elements from the die cut sheet in the pack to embellish the box. For the base, we used a stencil with distress ink first and then layered our papers. The base paper layer was die cut to achieve the zigzag border.

Cake Pie Box

For this box we've used the Back to Basics Paper pack for our layering. We used the Sigma card stock to make some paper flowers. We used some lace for the layering.

Like you can see, it is really easy to decorate these boxes and it doesn't take too long.

Papericious Back to Basics paper pack. Layout by Erum Tasneem | @pr0digy0
Hello everyone!
Erum here with a layout to share with you! I swear making layouts is so addictive.
When I saw this paper pack I was like "oh, I wouldnt be able to make a LO with these" and here I am with a layout!

Since the paper pack is so fun and has a range of colours, I decided to pick three colours and a mix of plaid and chevron papers.
I started off my doing some ink smooshing on watercolour paper. Inks used are distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed.

This "Cool Dude" chippie is from the The Gentleman themed chipboard pack.
The stamps that I have used are from Altenew.

Can you see the beautiful bronze sequin peeping from behind the star? That is one of the newest colours that Papericious released.

If you can see, I cut along the chevron pattern and glued down the pieces to make it look like one piece. My black stars are super glossy as I covered them with glossy accents.

I added a couple of banner strips and stamped a sentiment on the top right of my page to balance the LO.
