Bloom Chimes ft. 'Blooms & Berries' Tutorial Post

Hello Friends,
Season's Greetings!

This is Parita Galani from Mystic Hue.I am here today with a tutorial post of Bloom Chimes featuring Papericious Blooms & Berries Patterned Paper Pack Collection.

I have created a Hot Air Balloon for the top of the chimes and in the hanging have given the photo space and at the bottom I have attached fussy cut element from the same paper pack. This beautiful paper pack is so perfect to make beautiful gifts and decor for this season of merry and joy.

So presenting Bloom Chimes:

Here is the Step by Step Tutorial for making Bloom Chimes:-

Step 1 - I have taken a 3” by 5” piece and drawn the petal shape for the Hot Air Balloon.

Step 2 - Cut the first shape and than trace and make 6 more such petals. We will need 7 such petals to make Hot Air Balloons.

Step 3 - When petals are ready fold them into half such that design part is on the inside.

Step 4 - Now we will start sticking the petals one by one, keep petal adjacent on the plain part and stick one at a time.

Step 5 - When you are about to stick last petal insert a thread/rope of your choice, keep some over the top for hanging and approx 15” on the down to hang picture and embellishments.

Step 6 - After inserting the rope, stick the last petal from both the sides and our hot air balloon is ready.

Step 7 - Now cut out two pieces  3” by 5” paper from the paper pack and stick them back on back approximately 5” down from the Hot Air Balloon.

Step 8 - Lastly, I have stuck fussy cut roses from the paper pack at the end and it was approximately 5” down from the photo space.Cut off the excess thread and our Bloom Chimes is all set to be hanged with your favorite photos.

Up Up and Away Frame

Hello girls
This is Parul here. Hope you are doing great and playing along our ongoing challenge :)
So as always, today I have a CAS (Clean and Simple) project to share with you where I have used Hot Air Balloon Chippies and Fly Away Decoupage papers from Papericious.
Both hot air balloons have very pretty details. I covered one with Gesso and then coloured with blue and green colours.
And look at those butterflies! They are so much beautiful <3 I fussy cut them from Decoupage paper and adhered with the help of glue.
The sentiment is hand written and background has been created using water colours.
I am going to put this in my study area. Such a happy thought it is :)

I hope I have left you inspired. Do let me know in comments.

Baby Mobile

Hello once again.

I am very excited to introduce you my latest project.
The new Papericious Designer Edition - Mom to be is just incredible. I am working
in pre school and one of my dear kids in my group just got a baby sister. I decided to make
a baby mobile as a gift.

I was very inspired from a Norwegian scrapper, Kirsten Hyde. The tutorial and the template for the Hot Air Balolon you can find at her blog

Papericious released few more different laces and many more sequins and chipboards.

I decorated the basket with latest Lace from the November Launch. I love when things are practical and you can use them in many ways. Here I cut the lace in the middle so it will suit the right size of the basket. Mom to be including few sheets with beautiful illustrations that you can cut for 3D purpose.

I decided to cut the teddy bear and glue it on the basket. I thought the result was cute.

The Hot air balloon I chalked each side with Distress ink. For that I used the Papericious Blending tools.

I hope you like the project as much as I do.
