Mixed Media Card

Hi everyone! Erum here with a new card to share using the Jack and Jill Paper Pack.
I started by applying White Chalk Paint on the background. Then I coloured over it with a blue-green watercolour.
Next, I dyed some gauze and applied chalk paint onto some twigs. I glued these onto the card front and started to arrange my flowers.
Once the flowers were arranged, I added a lot of white chalk paint splatters. I also mixed the blue-green watercolour and chalk paint and added splatters of that as well.
In the end, I adhered a sentiment.
I thoroughly enjoyed making this card. I wanted to do something different using these papers. I hope you liked my card.

"Sea Shell by the Sea Shore" Journal by Swati.

Morning Everyone!
This is Swati from Swati's Crafting World. As we've stepped into a New Year, I wish you
& your family a very Happy New Year.

Today I've bounced back with yet another inspiration post. In my today's project I've
used recently launched - Papericious Blank Journal which is like an empty canvas for you
to fill with your creativity. Papericious has amazing Journal Books in different
sizes which you can convert in beautiful Scrapbooks & Albums in a
very short span of time.

I've coverted a Journal Book into a Beach Theme Scrapbook where I'll pen down & store all the beautiful memories of my trip to Mandarmani. I've entitled my Project as -
"SEA SHELL BY THE SEA SHORE."

To keep the overall theme Beachy I've created 3 layers by distressing them in Blue, Off-white & Green. After distressing I've torn the papers as you can in the pictures & glued them one after
another on the cover of the Journal. To enhance the project more I've added small
micro white beats over the off-white distressed paper & green moss over the green
distressed paper & kept it aside to dry them well. Meanwhile I've taken a wooden frame
& painted it with Natural White Papericious Chalk Paint & on the top I've added
Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear to give it a shinny look. I've then pasted the frame
on the top & then decorated the Journal with some shells, pearl, coloured stones,
flowers & leaves. Inside the frame I've pasted white net & on the top of it I've glued
one of my picture from the trip. On the back side of the cover, I've
painted in with Bracket Green Papericious Chalk Paint.

The Journal looks so pretty in person. And here's the close-up Picture.

Love,

Life is an Adventure!!

Hi lovely people,
Today I will be sharing with you a pretty suitcase shaped card along with a shadow box I designed for a couple who loves to travel.
I have used the Papericious Let's Go paper pack .
I love this pack as it has a perfect blend of colors and prints for all your travel related projects.
So sit back and enjoy ...
First is the suitcase shaped card.

Next I made the shadow box. The walls of the shadow box are covered with the red diamond print from the Let's Go paper pack.

Here I have taken glass domes and stuck them on little fussy cut images from one of the patterns.
This pack has some lovely quotes and here I have fussy cut this one and covered it with mod podge dimensional to give a glass look.
Here is the complete look of the shadow box.
Hope you like all the little elements put together and get inspired to create one for you. And do checkout our ongoing challenge, you still have time to share creations with us.

The Whimsical Sparkle

Hi lovely peeps,
Here today with mix media canvas. I missed playing around with inks and textures but the moment I laid my hands on the lovely Papericious spray mists, I wanted to do something on the canvas.
I have used Papericious white crackle medium with the stencil. Used Spritz Martian Green and Radiant Orchid.

Notice the tiny cracks with all that lovely texture.
The whimsical paper pack is just gorgeous. I experimented with image transfer with the 200 gsm sheet on the canvas. And I am very happy with the outcome.
And there is lots of fussy cutting and layering.
Dont miss the twinkling spark..Its a superfine sparkle dust that adds all shine to the canvas.

Hope you liked the mix media canvas piece.
