DIY File Holder

Hi lovely people,
Today I will be sharing with you an easy tutorial on making a file holder featuring my favorite set of Papericious pattern papers
I have made two sizes of file holders to keep my 12"x 12" and 6"x 6"  pattern papers all organised and sorted.
Making these was on my list for sometime now.So lets start with the tutorial.
I have taken corrugated sheet(from old packaging) and cut them to sizes which fits in 12x12" and 6x6" papers easily.
Large File Holder: 2 pcs (13" x 11.5 "); 1 pc (13"x 4"); 1 pc (11.5"x 4")
 Small File Holder: 2 pcs (7" x 3.5"); 1 pc ( 8.5"x 7"); 1 pc (7" x 3.5")
For getting all the sides together I have used painters tape, you can also use got glue gun to adhere all the sides in place.

I have painted the edges of the corrugated sheet using the country grey chalk paint (Large file holder). This is how it looks when taped.

I have painted the edges with  brick red chalk paint (small file holder).
Next step took Azalein paper pack and trimmed papers to respective sides (approx. 1cm smaller).

For the smaller file holder I have used the Ethereal paper pack and trimmed the pattern paper (approx. 1cm smaller).

I have embellished the file holder with some fussy cut images and flowers and lace.

That's all from my side.
Hope the easy tutorial inspired you to create one for yourself.

Quick Cards Using Papericious Vellum

Hi friends,
Welcome to today's post at the Papericious Blog. For today I am featuring the new Vellum sheets launched at Papericious along with the white chippis and gorgeous Pattern Papers. I love making cards and specially those which make people smile and cherish the emotions involved during the creative process. I enjoy adding simple layers on my cards which do not take away the attention from the focal point or the sentiment. Vellum paper is perfect to add an elegance and makes everything so delicate in appearance. Today I have 5 cards to share with you which are all different and they all are my favourite styles to work with vellum.

Card #1
For this I used a pretty pink pattern paper and a hand torn strip of vellum. The butterfly chippie is from an earlier launch on which I added white embossing powder and silver glass beads.

Card #2
The orange paper from the Ethereal paper pad inspired me to create a sunset themed card and I added few layers of vellum to create a mountain range. I added the cycle chippie and a cute cloud to finish the card.

Card #3
This card is my most favourite one because of the inspiring sentiment and the cage. I also like the pattern on the paper which makes the card very beautiful. I kept the vellum strip vertical and also adhered a black & white thin washi tape.

Card #4
For this card I used the Ethereal pattern paper and fussy cut the cute images. Used a mountain die by Lawn Fawn to cut the Vellum and created a scene. I have made similar cards using the paper pad in my last post linked here. This is a wonderful paper pad to create quick cards, tags and layouts.
Card #5
This is another super elegant card which I really enjoyed putting together and used the ... patterned Paper and a medallion chippie.
Hope you liked the post for today...
Hugs

The Ethereal World- Shadow Box, MM Card & TN Spread

Hello everyone,

Sunila and Aditi here with some fun inspirations! We have been playing with the Papericious  Ethereal Paper Collection and White Chippis and have three fun projects to share with you all!

These products are so versatile and can be used to create various projects.

First up, we have a Traveler's Notebook Spread. Traveller's Notebooks usually measure 4" x 8" and come with varied papers. Ours is a white unruled book and today we've created a double page layout.

For this, all we've done is trimmed a sheet of paper from the collection and adhered it onto our book pages. On one side, we've used a mini embellishment we made earlier, but layering a few die cut and fussy cut elements. On the other side, we added some phrases and enamel dots to complete it.

Next, we have a shadow box. We've used the Papericious Shadow Box, and the white chippies to create a fantasy scene using the Ethereal Paper Collection. We've used Papericious Chalk Paint to paint the shadow box and the Papericious Decoupage Glue to adhere the paper. We built our scene with the White Chippis and some fussy cut elements from the collection.

Our last project is a mixed media style card. This is an odd sized card-  5" x 9" when folded. We've used the Orange Cardstock in the collection as our base. We've layered various patterns from the paper pack, jute cord, white chippis, and another mini embellishment we created earlier from our stash. To finish it, we added a few shaker beads.

As you can see, it's so easy to create multiple projects with just one paper pack and the new chippis. Hope we've inspired you to create! Below are the supplies we've used in the three projects!
