Whimsical Box Card

Hello everyone,
Heena here from bloomingpaperbuds.com, Today I have an Altered project to share it is a Mixed media box card using the Whimsical Paper pack.
Here I have altered the broken half of an mdf box that I had previously decoupaged on. The decoupaged box also looked pretty but I think the altered version looks prettier and I have kept this on my desk because I just love having flowers or something pretty on my desk to look at. You can also create this using the Papericious mdf shadow boxes

The outer and inner sides of the box are covered with pattern papers and the base is primed with Heavy white gesso and I also have applied some White crackle paste.
The oval frame is fussy cut from the journal sheet available in the paper pack, It just looked so pretty that I decided to use it in my Project and turns out that me and design team member Erum coincidently came up with a similar creative idea. Check out her card if you haven't already, it looks super pretty and elegant!

All the other elements are fussy cut from the cut and create sheet  and the sentiment is fussy cut from the quote sheet, I have also used some sequins from the Sugar plum sequins mix. Lastly, I finished by sprinkling some Twinkling spark to add that Whimsical touch to my project.

Hope you found my creation Inspirational, Thank you for stopping by!

Here is Erum's project to inspire you to play along:

Here is what she has to say about her project:

Papers used: Femina Paper Pack

My card today is relatively simple yet elegant. I wanted to send one to my friend to give her a morale boost. I used one of the papers from Femina Paper Pack by Papericious. The pretty pink paper is perfect for our theme for this challenge and to top it off, I added a butterfly as well. And of course, all those pearls on lace finishes the card perfectly.

And here is my project as an inspiration:

I have made a mixed media triangle layout 'Believe' using Papericious gesso, modelling paste, chalk paint, sprays, white chippies and soft gloss gel.

I applied gesso with a sponge as a base. Then applied a white chalkpaint on some areas followed by some texture using modeling paste.

As the theme is feminine, I chose pink and peach colour with a bit of yellow colour and applied the colours randomly on the laces and threads I adhered with Soft gloss gel. Then added flowers on it along with chippies and lastly a butterfly and some bling.

So I have tried to use as many things women love as I can.

Hope you're inspired and we look forward to your participation!

Hugs,
Chirali. :)

Altered Box using White Chippis and Ethereal Papers

Namaste Friends!!

Today I am here with a quick tutorial of altering a mobile phone box using some recently launched Papericious White Chippis, which are very elegant, intricate and comes in beautiful designs. I have  also used newly launched Papericious Ethereal Paper Pack.

Lets see what I have created..

For this, firstly ,I have taken a mobile phone box..

Then covered its edges with Papericious White Gesso completely...inside and out...

Next, cover the inside of the box with the cardstock provided in the paper pack...I have distressed the edges of the paper to give some interest..

After that...covered the outside of the box with some other papers from the paper pack..

I have made few journaling/note cards to keep inside the box, but this box can be used to put some chocolates or a mini album or any other small gift.

Few close- up pictures..

I hopw you like this project.
Thanks for stopping by..
