Everlasting Love - Layout ft. With Love Paper Pack

Hi everyone!
Design Team Member Shweta here today to share my new project with you all. Papericious has launched two very beautiful paper packs - 'With Love' and 'Dream Big'. Along with the papers, they also have Cut and Create Embellishment Sheets and Chipboards co-ordinating with the papers, which makes making gorgeous projects easier for you.

My project today is a layout featuring the 'With Love' paper pack and trust me, this paper pack is going to blow your mind away. It is very pretty with a lot of floral patterns all over. The color scheme is very rich and eye catching. The co-ordinating Cut & Create Embellishment Sheets (CCE) and Chipboards make it all a perfect combination to create anniversary themed projects.

Here is my layout:

I chose one sheet to form a layout on and used randomly torn pieces from a different sheet of the patterned paper. I have fussy cut several floral patterns from the paper pack and the co-ordinating CCE Sheets to form a composition. Used the Chipboard sentiment and some Sequins to embellish and finished the composition.

Anniversary Memento ft. Billet Doux

Hello people,
Tulika here from C 4 Craft.
Today I am back with my new Inspirational post for Papericious ft. Billet Doux. This paper pack is truly beautiful and has the perfect balance of vintage colors with gorgeous roses! I decided to use this beautiful paper pack for my project to make a Mixed Media Desktop Keepsake or Memento for a couple as their Anniversary gift from their daughter. I have used coordinating Cut And Create Embellishment Sheets too to decorate. I have used MDF Cut-outs, Doily, Stencil, Colour Sprays and Pastes from my stash. Here are few snaps of it -

I made these handmade paper flowers with Papericious Sigma Cardstock.

Love in Paris

Hello and good morning! ^__^

I'm Halak and today I'll be taking you through a love themed layout tutorial.

What does the final layout look like you ask?

Like this :

So.. let's get started!

I've used the following 4 paper sheets from Papericious Love In Paris paper collection.

This paper collection is a part of Premium Collection by Papericious and man... it is GORGEOUS!

It's got that perfect blend of designs that'd make wonderful Shabby Chic and Vintage themed projects. Apart from this, it would make awesome Journal pages, especially a travel journal!

When I think of Paris, I think, Love. A romantic destination. Hence the layout. But let this not limit your imagination.. Paris is also famous for fashion and food! ^__^

I started by inking up a large stamp partially and stamping it onto the patterned paper.

Tip : Rather than inking up the whole stamp for layouts, it is advisable to ink stamps partially. Adds more interest to a project.

Next I took two sheets and cut out / hand-tore sections from it to position around the stamped image.

Then I placed the two cut-outs onto the project and decided where to adhere.

After adhering the pieces, I did some more stamping and added sentiment + small washi tape bits.

Tip : Look for stamps that co-ordinate with your theme and select accordingly for project. I was primarily going for a shabby chic look with faint vintage undertones, so I selected stamps that would give me a worn out / distressed effect.

If you do not have stamps that sport the distressed look, what you can do is ink up a stamp and stamp it lightly onto scrap paper first and then use the second generation stamp for the actual project.

After that I added some pearls, tiny flowers (and gave them a pearl center) + some more background stamping.

Used a damask stencil with pink dye ink for more texture.

I also cut out a postcard in pink (first design from the left in the image containing paper design details), hand-tore it and added random bits of it to select areas of the project.

You can see the hand-torn post card adhered in this close up image :

I also added a Papericious Adhesive Button that had a beautiful scene featuring the Eiffel Tower. (So pretty and perfect for my project!)

Lastly added some script stamping in the background and glitter to the sentiment along with a few pink enamel dots that you see in the very first picture of this blog post.

And that's how I did it!

I have one last close up to share with you folks before signing off :

Yikes, almost forgot! Once the layout was done, I matted it onto red cardstock and gave it a thin border on all sides.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Till next time! *Hugs*

Love is in the Air!

Hello and good morning! I'm Halak and today I'm gonna be talking about a layout I made. ^__^

This is made using the brand new January 2016 Papericious Paper Pack - If Only.

This love themed paper pack has a gorgeous mix of pastels with a beautiful set of papers that sport the vintage look.

So, if you are the classic vintage lover looking for some pop of pastel in your creations, this pack is perfect!

Also, it has enough modern elements so for someone like me, who does not dabble much into Vintage, this works equally well.

The papers are great not just for layouts, altered art, cards etc. but these would also be fantastic for the Planner series that Papericious has come up with.

The color scheme matches beautifully with both the planners, Color Splash and Vintage Chic so irrespective of which planner you get, this paper pack will go with it.

Also in this pack is one design that consists many small notecards / labels and strips etc. of different designs and colors so what I did was cut up some of those pretty labels and use it as my focal point.

I fussy cut out the hearts from another sheet, coated them in glitter dust and added them to my layout because let's face it, a love themed layout without hearts... who are we kidding?! Lol! It's gotta have hearts!!! ^__^

Of course, where there is love, there there are the flowers.

Rose is my favorite flower, so I took a stencil having the pattern I wanted and inked it in two tones, pale pink and cool grey.

I did add a few sequins initially, but then I realized that they made the project look cluttered. So I just let the sparkly hearts and the beautiful quotes do the talking.

That's how this project came together. I hope you enjoyed looking at it.

Have a lovely day! *Hugs*
