Decoupage - Wall Decor

Hello Crafty souls, welcome back!
Tanvi here today with a decoupage home decor post.
I started by painting a section of the wooden plaque using Bracket Green Chalk Paint & dry brushing with Natural White Chalk Paint.
Next I tore the background paper from Fly Away Decoupage Paper for my project & glued it to the base. I also used the other design paper from this set & decoupaged a mason jar.
Some stenciling for added texture & I had a beautiful home decor piece ready!
Here is a close up of the stenciling that coordinates so well with the pattern of the decoupage paper-
Used crackle paste to stencil the text-

Thanks for stopping by today & Happy Decoupaging!

Mixed Media Layout with tutorial

Namaste Friends!!

This is Kriti today with a tutorial this time and this will be my last post for Papericious. It was a wonderful experience for me. Aastha and her team is super awesome and most helpful. So, coming towards my project, I had made a mixed media layout using Papericious Ethereal paper pack.

Have a look...

To make this firstly, I had taken a sheet from the respective paper pack and applied white gesso over the selected area

After that, made a pattern using Papericious White Crackle paste and stencil.

Next, spray some blue color over it.

After finalizing my composition, I have sprayed some white gesso.
For embellishments, I have used jute chord, laces and shaker beads from Papericious.

Some close- up pics..

I hope you like my project....
Once again , I want to thanks Aastha and team for the wonderful  opportunity, to design for Papericious. Papericious is like kid to me....I will really miss it.

Lots of love and hugs!!

Whimsical Altered Embroidery Hoop

Namaste Friends!!

Kriti this side. Today I am here with a tutorial for an altered embroidery hoop. For today's project I have used Papericious Whimsical paper pack. Few other products that I have used are Papericious chippis, chalk paint, gesso, crackle paste and lace.

See what I have created...

To make this, firstly I have adhered and tied the mandala chippie with the hoop. I have tied the chippie so that it will work as a supportive base for my embellishments.

Next covered it completely with the Papericious White Gesso

After that I have applied a very thin layer of Papericious Crackle Paste on the edges of the hoop.

Finally I have covered entire composition with  Papericious Chalk Paint.

And after adhering all the die-cuts from the paper pack...this is the final output..

I hope you like the project and the tutorial.
