Everyone gets an equal chance here so whether you are a novice or an experienced crafter, all are welcome to play along with our challenges.
Here is Arjita's project to inspire you to play along:
Here's what Arjita has to say about her project :
I used an old MDF box which was lying around with me since a very long time on which I had initially tried and practiced decoupage a few years back. I wanted to give the box a new look .You can pick any old tin box, Shoe box ,old watch or mobile phone box to recycle and reuse beautifully.
Instructions:
- Step 1-I started by painting the entire box with Papericious Black chalk Paint and allowed it to dry completely.
- Step 2- Next I selected few beautiful Papericious Chalk Paints and some ball tools of various sizes for the project.
- Step 3- I started the dot painting and created the pattern on the top of the box and on the side.
- Step 4- Lined the box using a paper from the Ethereal paper pad and the project was ready .
I love the Papericious Chalk Paints as they are so opaque and highly pigmented. They look stunning on both black and white surfaces.
This is a very easy project and I would encourage you to create a similar project and share it with us.
And here is my project to inspire you...
Here I have a battery operated lantern that was sitting on my table but had stopped working so I upcycled it into a home decor item.
I have used papericious white gesso to prime and used white crackle paste and modelling paste to create textures. I used the soft gloss gel to adhere everything. I have also used some colour spray and embellishment mousse to color and highlight.
Hope you're inspired and we look forward to your participation!
