Hello Friends!

This is Priya here with Rajni Chawla. It's time for a brand new challenge here at Papericious! You must have known by now that it's Papericious 2nd Birthday and we have lots of fun games and celebrations going on all through this month. To continue the celebrations and festivities, this month challenge is all about Birthdays!

Theme - Make a Project/Card with Birthday wishes
Make any project out of your imagination but theme should be Birthday.

Please go through the General Guidelines HERE before you link up your project. Any project not following the rules, will be disqualified and it will not be eligible for the prizes.

Papericious will be giving away TWO prizes to those who use Papericious products in their creations.

1. The DT will be selecting a Merit Winner at the end of every challenge who will stand a chance to win a gift voucher worth INR 500 from the Papericious store.
2. We will be also be having a Random Winner from all the entries who enter their projects every month to win a Papericious 6 X 6" Pattern Paper Pad.
Everyone gets an equal chance here so whether you are a novice or an experienced crafter, all are welcome to play along our challenges.

Here are projects we made for some inspiration. First up is Rajni Chawla's card:

What a stunning mixed media card she has made! This is what Rajni says about her card :

"I created a mix media Birthday Card for Papericious. The various textures are first formed using strips from Perfect Affair paper pack. Tone down the color with white gesso and build layers of blue shades.Once happy with the background, I stamped it randomly with grunge stamps and splattered diluted white and black gesso. To embellish the card, I have created layers using fussy cut images from the paper pack, Papericious chippies, and DCAM Tag die cut outs and also added some sparkling frosty look with frosting powder. The sentiment is from MFT label Love."
Here is Shaker card I made.

Since it's Papericious 2nd birthday, I made sure to add number 2. I have used number 2 Chipboard, chippies from Birthday Chipboard sheet and a mix of sequins again from Papericious. I colored the chippies with Tim Holtz Distress paints and while it was still wet, I poured in some glitter embossing powder and heat set it with the heat gun. I was not able to capture the glitter in the pictures but it surely looks stunning in real. The background is created from MFT birthday balloon stencil.

I hope you liked this month theme. I can't wait to see what all you will create for the challenge.

Before I go, I just want to remind about the Papericious big birthday giveaway and all the prizes we have lined up for you. Do hop on this post to get all the details!
