Purse pillow boxes with Papericious - tutorial

Hello! Crafty friends,
For today's tutorial post I have made few purse pillow gift boxes..which you can make in any theme as per your requirement..you can use it for birthday's,festival gift boxes or any other purpose...since it's a picture heavy post.. Iam going straight to that...

Step by step instructions with pictorial:

Step-1: take 9"*11" pattern paper.
 Step-2: score on 11" side at 11/2",51/2",91/2".
Step-3:score on 9" side from 1" down till scoring lines..means it should touch the 11/2" score line..on both sides or from all 4 sides..for better understanding see picture I specifically did in white paper so you can see....and mark or just score mark in the middle scoring lines.we don't have to score just little marking will do.

Step-4: now fold the pattern paper in half and cut the two top corners of 1"*11/2" ..see picture
Step-5: now for pillow flaps..take any round plate and draw arch touching two corner points..do this on opposite side also
 See in this picture clearly
Step-6:now same way using round plate do inside arch..it will make an eye shape...do it other side also.
See here in this picture for better idea.
Step-7: now cut that arch shape from outside edge..you will get a purse kind of design.see picture
Step-8: now score all inside arch shape lines with pointed score tool and give shape..see picture

Step-9: now taking a circle punch cut a small half circle from both  opposite side....this small semicircle will help to pull out out flap easily when we close the pillow box flaps. We have to do it on one sides only.
Step-10: now with glue stick top two straight 11/2"*7" part.
Step-11: once glue is dried..then using corner rounder or stub..give corner shapes. It will give nice look to our purse pillow boxes.
Step-11: now to make handle in my  purse pillow gift box..I have used sizzix oval die and diecuting machine..I have cut out that oval shape..you can try other shapes also..now fold two side flaps inside.
Total size of my purse pillow box is 7"*51/2". Finally I have decorated using MS punch boarder, design papers sentiment sheet ,pearls and ribbon bow.

Hope you have liked my work..and thank you for stopping by

Envelopes with Papericious papers

Hello friends!
Here I am with my DT post for this month...I have designed few money envelopes using different Papericious design papers...I have designed these envelopes using pattern paper cutouts  or leftover pieces, diecuts, stamp images..which I had in my stash..( as I do extra images or diecuts for my projects and  sometimes I don't use that, so  I store that in a box) I wanted to stretch and use all that scraps..🙂 All envelopes base are handmade using Papericious papers.

These two envelopes are designed little differently from the rest..here for closer I have used belly band and main decoration thing is on that...

For these two envelopes I have used MS punch boarders..
In this envelope flowers are handmade from whimsical paper..using flower die.

In these envelopes images are colored with zig water colours..and images are fussy cut.

That butterflies are cutout from monochrome paper pack..which I have coloured with zig brush Colors n used twinkling spark glitter on that...and for that square diecut designs I have used double stitched square diecuts..
Hope I have inspired you with my work.. thank you for stopping by..

Card cum mini waterfall album- with whimsical papers.

Hello crafty friends!
Today it's my turn to inspire you all with Papericious stuff..so let start..
It's a tutorial post today with Papericious whimsical papers, chippis and chalk paint. I have made simple gatefold card with waterfall mini album inside..which can be an ideal gift for your birthday's, Anniversary's   or  for coming Raksha Bandhan you can make a card in this style with photos of you and your brother inside..which  can be cherished  forever....

Now let's start with the pictorial with step by step instructions..

Step -1: cut cardstock according to the given mesurements....
1 pcs CS - size 6.25"*8.75"
2 pcs CS- size- 3.25"*6.25"
4 pcs CS- size 6"*4.5"
1pc CS- 5.5"*5.5"

Step-2: now take 6.25"*8.75" cs and on 8.75" side score at 1",1.25" from both sides
Step-3: now take two pcs of CS 3.25"*6.25" and stick on both 1" sides and will get two gatefold flaps.( See picture)
Step-4:now take all 4 pcs of CS of 4.50"*6" and score at 1/2" on all 4.5" sides..and that's our  4 photo flaps for waterfall.

Step-5 : now stick these 4 flaps inside of our card in the middle part leaving 3/8" from top..one after another to form waterfall flaps...and on two side flap of our gatefold we can give pocket or belly band with tags..

Step-6: now for closer if you want to use ribbon or magnet..then at this step you have to use that..here I have used ribbon for my card closer..

Step-7: then cover all insides n outsides with pattern papers
Step-8: now take 5.5" x5.5" CS piece which is left from our cut out pieces and stick on the left side of our gatefold card over the ribbon part..and your card is ready..with  ribbon closure , two belly bands n tags inside on two sides and in middle we have waterfall flaps which can hold  9 photos of 4"*6".
Now you can decorate your card according to your requirement or choice.
Here I have done one birthday card..and second green card I wasn't sure so just used simple sentiment from that same paper pack..and later as per requirement I can add more sentiments.
Supplies used:
Mulberry flowers from my stash

Colored this cute little angel using Papericious Chalk paint and Prime waxes. I have used this cute angle in my purple card.

Hope you are still with me.. thank you for stopping by..if you have any queries regarding this card please feel free to ask.. will definitely reply.
