Hello friends!
This is Priti here, and I am so happy and excited to be a part of the Papericious Design Team. I am passionate about memory keeping and love to scrapbook little moments of my life with pretty paper and embellishments. You can see my love for scrapbooking on my Facebook page by the name "Scrapping Moments by Priti" and also on Instagram.

I am here to announce this month's challenge and share an inspiration project with the beautiful Papericious papers. So here it is - Are you Fussy? Well! If the answer is Yes, then this challenge is definitely for you. So let us all get out our precision tip scissors and go to town with it :)

Here is the theme for November Challenge - Are you Fussy?

Then, come back and link your entry using the InLinkz tool provided at the end of the post.

PRIZES:
The Design Team will be selecting a Merit based Winner at the end of the challenge who will stand a chance to win a gift voucher worth INR 1,000 from the Papericious Store.

We will also be picking three entries as ouTop 3, who will be awarded a badge to flaunt on their blog.

Now lets move on to my creation:

"MAGICAL" LAYOUT:
I love to fussy cut images and elements from pattern papers and for this challenge, I have created a scrapbook page titled "Magical" using the "FAIRY LAND" Paper Pack. This paper collection is so beautiful with several elements to fussy cut and can be used in so many different ways in our projects.

I had this lovely picture of my daughter from this year's Diwali and I wanted to use a white cardstock as the background. So I picked up a 12x12 sheet of patter paper, fussy cut all the three floral clusters and layered them exactly in the same position as in the pattern paper. I also fussy cut out some elements like fairies, mushrooms, butterflies and birds. The title is also fussy cut from a die cut sheet. I can proudly call this layout as a completely "fussy cut" page :) I added a little bit of mixed media with papericious modelling paste, a honeycomb stencil and pearlescent watercolours. This added some texture and sparkle to the page.

The picture is matted on vellum and I also added a doily, a paper clip, black acrylic paint splatters, enamel dots, sequins and some phrase stickers as finishing touches.

Here are some pictures of my layout with few close ups.

I also have two other lovely members from the team - Pujaand Sneha from Kalakriti, who will also share an inspiration project with you for this month's challenge. Let's have a look at their creation as well.

TULIKA DEY SAHA
Hello, everybody! I am Tulika Saha, a passionate crafter from the city of joy- Kolkata.
I did my Masters Degree in Geography and worked for almost 15 years as a teacher in different reputed schools in Kolkata and Howrah, before I took up crafting as a full time career and being a stay at home mom with my son. I always had a keen interest for art and craft from childhood. I am constantly trying out new ways to upcycle things. So, I decided to invest my time to start my own venture in crafting business after leaving my school job on 2016.
Papers always attract me in some way or the other and that is the main reason to love paper crafting most and to turn any product into useful home decor through decoupage, scrapbook layout, memento or mixed media! I do take orders for handmade home decors and gift items and spend free hours by taking up decoupage & mixed media workshops in different places in Kolkata & Howrah.
I take inspirations from nature and industries and those reflect on my work too but whatever project I do, I put my soul into it and they are very close to my heart.
You can find more of Tulika's work on her blog, and connect with her on FacebookInstagramYouTube, and Pinterest.
