CAS Cards for Valentine's Day ft. Me Before You

Hello friends!
Hope you all are ready for the Valentine's Day which is just around the corner. In case you are not, I have some simple cards to share with you which are really easy to make and can be made in a jiffy.
This is Priti here, and I will show you a set of five Valentine's Day cards using the gorgeous "Me Before You" Paper Pack from Papericious.

I have used a lot of fussy cut elements from the pattern papers and the coordinating Cut & Create Embellishment Sheets to make these cards. The Sequins in different sizes and colours from Papericious, were just perfect for adding some sparkle and glitter to these cards. You could also add a lot of dimension by using 3D foam tape in different layers.

Tutorial : You and Me Card

Hello friends!
Parul this side! I hope you are really enjoying all inspiration posts on the blog. Today I am here with a card using Hooked Paper Pack from Papericious. It's a lovely set of pattern papers with a very pretty colour palette.
And what I loved most is the sentiment sheet it comes with. There are 24 sentiments (all so beautifully done) so you can make as many cards without even need of printing or stamping a message.
Steps :
1. To make this card I started with a top fold card base in ivory colour . The size of card front is 4" x 5.5"
2. Next I took two pattern papers in contrasting prints and cut them 3.75" X 4" and 3.75" X 2".
3. I adhered these pattern papers on the card base and to cover the joint I cut a stripe from other patterned paper on with word love is written repeatedly.
4. Next, I cut a heart out of the same patterned paper and also cut the sentiment out of the sentiments sheet. I glued both hearts at an angle and adhered them to card base using foam tape to add some dimension.

I really loved how this turned out. What do you think? Let me know in comments section :)

Thank you for stopping by!
Love,
Parul

5 quick cards with Whimsical Paper Pad

Hi friends,
Welcome to today's blog post where I used the Papericious Whimsical pattern paper one more time. This is an old paper pad but an all time favourite because you can do so many things  with it like scrapbook layouts, cards, envelopes, tags etc. For today, I decided to make some quick CAS style cards using this beautiful paper pad.
Card # 1 BUNNIES ON A SEE SAW
For this card I have created a card using the two adorable bunnies and made them look like they are on a see saw. I used the sentiment and the images from the Ephemera sheet which I have fussy cut using Cutter Bee scissors. Used some foam tape to add dimension to the card.
Card # 2 PRETTY WHEELBARROW
For this  I used the plain light green paper and used a burlap stamp to add the texture. I used my sharp pair of scissor to cut the wheel barrow and adheared it at the bottom of the card.I finished it with a delicate sentiment.

Card # 3 THE LIGHTHOUSE

This was the easiest among all. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut a part of one of the papers and I stuck it on the card front and added a fun quote to finish the card.

Card # 4 ADORABLE SQUIRRELS
This card is also quite similar to the last one but also added a fussy cut image and a sentiment from the paper pad.
Card # 5 ELEGANT PLANTER
For this card I used one of the most elegant purple pattern paper from the collection and used a circle die on top. I heat embossed the sentiment and used the big planter with the flower cluster.
All the cards were super quick and easy to create and I hope you will give them a try.

Valentine's Day Cards - Mass Production using Pattern Papers

Hi All,
It's Priya here from Priya-n-papers. Recently I was invited to showcase my work at a gallery with the theme Valentines' day where people can purchase as well. Since I was on the time crunch, I had to make a bunch of cards to showcase. So! I pulled out Papericious's gorgeous paper pack "Gilded Onyx".
The papers are breathtakingly beautiful with gold foil. The colors are so tastefully chosen and patterns are so trendy!
Back to my mass production, I made 20 cards out of 12x12 paper pack of Gilded Onyx and still have many left overs sheets using which I can easily make another 20 cards!
I have just used these papers along with MFT All about you stamp/die and stitched sentiment dies to complete these cards.
I mass produced the card in assembly line. Meaning, I complete one step for all the cards at once. For example, I cut the A2 size bases and adhered all the panels to the card base at once. Then cut/die cut the the layers and adhered on to the card bases at once. After that, I stamped the sentiments on to the stitched strip die cuts and stick on to all cards together. These are literally 3 step cards!
Here are the 4 designs. I first designed 4 cards and then made 5 per design to make 20 cards. I kept the design simple so I can whip up the cards quickly. I was able to make 20 cards in around 3 hours!
Now let's have a look at each design.
Card Design 1 - You Give the Best Hugs:
Here I used the falling diamonds pattern as background paper and adhered pool color heart die cut over it. For the "You" sentiment, I used, Glitter paper and finished it off with a matching sentiment.
Here is the set of cards I created. I sold 2 and left with 3 to showcase here.
Card Design 2 : You See The Best In Me
For this one, I used falling diamonds foiled pattern with black background as my base and cut heart from the white script pattern. Here is the set :
Card Design 3 : You Make my Life Better
This design has landscape A2 design with white over pool color combo.
This is the set I made.
Card Design 4 : You are Fantastic
Here I have used all colors of the paper pack in different patterns and adhered as layers. Have a look at this collection.
I hope you liked the cards I designed. All are A2 size cards and I have kept minimum layers on the card to keep it simple yet elegant.
