Valentine theme shadow box with Love Actually papers.

Hello friends!
valentine day is near...the love is in the air..and the moment I saw the "Love Actually "paper pack by Papericious..I can think of this  project only..😊
We at Papericious have awesome new release this month..in pattern paper, mini shakers in MDF, MDF shadow boxes..glass beads..etc...and you can check lovely inspirations  by our talented DT's at our Papericious blog HERE. I have made a valentine theme shadow box..using love actually papers,8"x10" MDF shadow box..

#Used  natural white Papericious chalk paint to colour my MDF box..
# used script pattern paper from  love actually papers for the base...I have used sticker sheet .. which I have layered with black cardstock and then layered with white ticket die cut with foam dots to give dimensions.... the sticker sheet from this paper pack is so beautiful that I tried to us that more in my project.. instead of other elements.
# I have arranged stickers in L shape n kept 4x6 place for photo..here I have used image of a couple.. I liked black n white look so much that I did not color the image so that it doesn't standout from the background.
#used banner diecut at the bottom part..
# that cute  mason jar with lovely sentiment..is also from the same sticker sheet..n used mulberry tulips..
#cute little angel from pattern paper..I fussy cut that and highlighted with glossy accent n clear glitter..
#finally used love sentiment n top circle stamp sentiment from my stash.
#this shadow box you can hang or use it as photoframe.
Thank you.. that's all for today..see you with my next project...till then bye n take care.love n hugs

Everything Beautiful -- Decoupaged Canvas (Pictorial)

Namaste Friends!!

Kriti this side...wishing you a very Happy New Year. This is my first post of 2018.

Today's project will feature the recently launched Decoupage Papers by Papericious and chalk paints. I made a decoupaged canvas using Decoupage papers, Chalk paints and Decoupage glue.

For this I took a 10" X 8" canvas and covered the entire canvas with white heavy gesso. And then cut the desired design from the Papericious Decoupage paper - Fashionista.

Next I covered the entire canvas with Papericious Country Grey Chalk paint. And then with the help of spatula applied magenta colour acrylic paint at few places.

After that stamped it with script background stamp to make the background more interesting.

Then I have used Papericious Decoupage glue to adhere the design which I had cut it earlier.

Here are some final pictures...

I hope you liked it..

Altered Embroidery Hoop with Decoupage Papers

Namaste Friends!!

This is Kriti, I am here today with a very different project using Papericious newly launched Decoupage Papers. These papers are so beautiful, it has the most gorgeous colours and patterns. Anyone will fall in love with these.

Now, as you all know I am not a decoupage person, so I made a little different thing, tried something new with these beautiful papers.

I followed one mantra " Never be afraid to try something new, because life gets boring when you stay within the limits of what you already know". If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.

So, I altered some embroidery hoops with these papers and I love how they turned out.

Have a look!

Some close- up pics

To make these I picked three embroidery hoops of different sizes. Then coated them with Papericious white gesso, after that applied Papericious Bracket Green Chalk paint with some Papericious white crackle paste( I am in love with this product).

Now selected my favourite papers from the collection. Trace them out of the size of the hoop and cut them according to it( I had also cut three circles of a cardstock too to paste these decoupage papers over it, so that they become sturdy to hold the embellishments).

Used Papericious Soft Gloss gel to paste the papers with hoop.

Now decorate each of the hoop and get creative with it. I kept it simple with less embellishments because papers were beautiful. These don't let me to add more embellishments.

It was so much fun to make these and I am loving the final result.

Hugs
