Journal page with Whimsical

Hello My Dear Friends!!!!
For today i have a journal page created using  Papericious Whimsical pattern paper and Chalk paints. I created layers using pattern paper, stenciling, stamping and white crackle paint and i was really happy with the outcome.
Here is the result -
 For creating this page i started with pasting strips of pattern paper on journal page with clear dry glue.

  Once all the layers are done, smear chalk paint Brachel Green, Natural White, French Blue on craft mat and with the help of a roller sponge randomly apply on the page
Once the paints dried, smear Green Acrylic paint and Chalk paint - Vitta Plum, Dried Lavender, Cyber Grape and Natural White on the craft mat and use with script and fern stencils.

Stamp the page with various stamps using black archival ink, here i used leaves, butterfly and gauge texture stamps. Keeping the focus on the upper right side of page.
 Fussy cut out birds, butterflies and sentiment from the pattern paper. With the help of palette knife apply White Crackle paint around the birds and sprinkle mini stones around the birds.
 Once the crackle paste dried properly color the page using Spritz - Tangeringe, Tango, Radiant Orchid, Ocean Blue, Deep Teal, Hot Paperika.


Paste  sentiment quote with the help of a clear dry glue as shown.

Papericious July Challenge- Home Decor

Hello friends, 
Sunila, Aditi and Lekha here bringing you this month's challenge.
This month we are asking you to create any home decor project. It could be anything ranging from a Canvas, MDF Item, Frames, Wall Art, Altered Art, etc.
~Create any home decor project. 
~Remember that you need to use Papericious Products as your main focus to qualifying for the win.
~The last date of submission of your projects is 9th August 2018 at 11:55 pm IST.
~Please go through the general guidelines HERE before you link up your projects. Any project not following the rules will be disqualified and it will not be eligible for the prizes. 
Now onto the exciting part, the prizes! Papericious will be giving away TWO prizes every month. 
The DT will be selecting a Merit Winner at the end of every challenge who will stand a chance to win a gift voucher worth INR 500 from the  Papericious Store. 
We will also be having a Random Winner from all the entries who enter their projects every month to win a Papericious 6"x6" Pattern Paper Pad.
Everyone gets an equal chance here, so whether you are a novice or an experienced crafter, all are welcome to play along with our challenges.

My current favourite paper pack is the Papericious Whimsical Paper Pack. I am altering an old videotape box! (Yes, now that's gonna be super old!). I would later be using this as a pretty box to house my zig markers. I have first painted the box using Cyber Grape Chalk Paint and then added papers in layers and fussy cut images from the Paper pack. The spine of the box has been given a new look using the Circle Flourish Lace Trim from Papericious. Look at the Butterfly Chipboard, it's such a delicate and intricate design. Another favourite this season is the white chippies, I have used the Cycle chippie from the fancy fence set. To finish the box, I have scattered few sequins from the Sugar Plum Mix. 


And now, here is a look at our creation (Sunila & Aditi):
We have decorated the Papericious MDF Desk Organiser using the Blush Paper Pack- and Papericious Decoupage Glue. We fussy cut elements from the paper pack to use as embellishments. We used the Plum Chalk Paint to paint the remaining sides. We used the Mermaid Flower white chippies and Butterfly Mini Shakers to decorate it further.

Whimsical Mixed Media Canvas

Namaste Friends!

This is Kriti, and today I am here with a mixed media canvas using very sweet paper pack from Papericious and that is Papericious Whimsical.

For this project I have used few other products also like Papericious Gesso, Papericious White Crackle Paste, Papericious White Chippis, Papericious Spritzz Radiant Orchid,and Papericious shaker beads.

 Here is my project...



Firstly, I had taken a canvas and covered it with Gesso, after that using crackle paste and stencil made some texture and then spray the spritzz.

Next, layered it with beautiful papers from the pack and the die-cuts. Lastly adorn it with some flowers, white chippis and Papericious shaker beads.
