Travel Album with Let's Go

Hi friends!
I have a special project to share today, a chipboard album made with Let's Go paper pack and travel themed chipis.

I will let the photos do all the talking today. I made this for one of my clients who asked for a chipboard album to treasure their trip memories of North Pakistan.

So each page denotes one day, starting from Day 1 to the final day. The Day 1 page will have little notes about that day and related photos.

I tried my best to add a lot of tags for text and space for photos as well.

Most of the sentiments have been printed, some I used from the Let's Go Paper Pack.

I also used a mix of stamps from various companies.

I was just very thrilled to have this paper pack at the right time because travel themed papers are hard to come by and this ones perfect!
I hope you liked the project. I will see you soon.
Bye :)

Pocket Page with Let's Go

Hello everyone,

Sunila and Aditi here to inspire you all with more ideas using the Let's Go Paper Pack.

Memory keeping and especially for travel memories is always fun. Today, we have created a pocket page using this collection, along with some chippies and chalk paint. Pocket pages are a method of scrapbooking. Usually, a single page measures 12" x 12", and is a transparent plastic sheet, with different partitions. So one can put different sizes of pictures, create small cards, store tickets, or small souvenirs, etc.

Here's a look at what we have created:

We used different sheets from the collection, layered some papers, fussy cut elements and layered them along with chippies painted with chalk paint. The page overall looks colourful and vibrant. And behind each of the cards, we can insert our photos, so that makes it a double page spread.

We also made a postcard. Die cut a base paper, added some fussy cut elements and drew lines. One can make these and carry, and send out postcards to friends while on a holiday.

Document Holder + Travel Album

Hello everyone,

Hope you're all doing well! With Summer here, it's always a good idea to plan a vacation. Today we have some perfect projects to document your travels and vacations using the Papericious Let's Go Paper Collection and Chippies.

First up is a Document Holder. It's a perfect holder for tickets, boarding passes, or any souvenirs from your trip. For this one, we've used Papericious Yellow Cardstock for our base. The base is cut at 9"x12", scored at 5 1/8" and 10 3/8" on the 12" side. For the inside, left pockets cut two pieces at 9 3/4" x 2 1/2"; and 9 3/4" x 4"; and for the right pockets 9 3/4"x4". Score all three at 1/2" on three sides. Then it's all about matting with pattern paper and decorating it.

Next, we have an envelope style mini album to hold all those perfect pictures from the vacation. For this one, we've created enveloped on the We R Memory Keepers 123 Punchboard, with a 7" x 7" paper size. We wanted to keep one side open and so we cut one flap. We've put pattern paper to 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" to make our cards for the inside and decorated them with elements from the paper pack and chippies. For the covers, we cut down pattern paper to 4"x5" and decorated the same way. We then punched two holes and used some ribbon to hold the album together. Here's a look at it:

Birthday card tutorial

Hello crafties.
This is Diana.

Today I am showing tutorial for easy and interesting card folding.
I used Let`s go paper pack. It has a Travel theme. This card is for my Dad's birthday. He will receive a flight ticket from my family.

I cut the strip 13,5 cm x 5,5 cm. and I scored at 1,5 cm as shown. I glued the smaller part to the back of the card and the wider part will be shown on the front and will be used as small pocket.

For the paper be able to be stuck behind the pocket, i used a staple. It is important not to staple throw the front paper. Do cut the front paper shorter so you will have a space from the bottom  (about 1,5 cm).

Now it time to design the front of the card. I used a stamp with  suitable subject.

I wanted to have clean design so I used only three colors: white black and red.  This paper pack have great patterns!

That the front of the card. As you can see the front paper is stopped into the front pocket.
The text is in Swedish and it says: Enjoy every minute.

When you take out the front paper, that what you see: Short message and I will put a note inside the pocket where it will be said : Ticket to Germany

Hope you like this card.
Hugs from me:
DT Diana

Tutorial Part 1 : Making Mini Albums : Different ways of Using 12x12 Cardstock

Hi All,
This is Priya here to share very interesting tutorial with you.  Most of the Papericious kits comes with 12x12 cardstock which we can use for layering and making base. But do you know that you can use these 12x12 sheets in different ways to create cute mini albums and journals? just score and cut in different ways to create super easy projects. Today I am sharing 2 of such ways to use those 12 inches cardstocks. In my next post I will share few more ways. I have used glossy cream cardstock from The Wedding Paper pack.
Also, I am showcase the newly release Let's Go Paper pack and chipboards which is actually on travel theme. So before you leave for any vacation, make few of these, put it in your backpack and document your journey along the way! How fun it will be!
Style 1 : 3 Flap Pocket Album
This is basically a 4 x 4.5 inches mini with 3 folding flaps and 9 pockets. You can add or reduce the number of pockets and decorate it as per your choice.
Procedure :
Here are the basic instructions on how to create it's base from 12x12 sheet of paper.

Step 1 : Score the paper as per the instructions shown in Pic A
Step 2 : Cut and fold along the scored lines as shown in Pic B.
You can enlarge the pics to look at the measurements and folds closely.
Here are few detailed pictures on how I decorated it. The Let's Go paper pack comes with diecut sheets as usual. It has very interesting journal cards which we can use as inserts and document our journey on it. This mini has extra space to keep extra stuff like pictures, tickets, etc.
The pack has pattern paper with boarding passes printed on it. I fussy cut these and used it as inserts. Fill up each boarding pass as you transit from one city to another. isn't it fun?
Here are few more pictures will all the inserts out.

Style 2 : Accordion Mini Book with gatefold cover
This is about 3.5 x 3 inches book with a cover of about 4.5 x 4 inches.  The book is accordion in style which is very easy to make.
Procedure :
Here is a 3 step tutorial on how I created the base of it.
Step 1 : Score the 12x12 inches paper as shown in Pic A
Step 2 : Cut the paper as shown in Pic B. You will get 3 pieces; 2 for the inner accordion book and one for the cover
Step 3 : Fold the pieces as shown in Pic C and glue 2 end panels of accordion to make it one long accordion.
Now the base is ready and you can decorate it as per your liking.
Let's me unfold my mini now!
I decorated both sides of accordion. For this mini book, I didn't created any pockets. I rather created photo corners to add the photos for each destination I will visit. That's why I have numbered the opposite side of mini. The numbering can be treated as days like day 1, day 2 etc or like cities/places you will visit.
The corners are glued only at the outer edges. The other side is left open to slide the photos in.

Products Used :

Papericious The Wedding Paper Pack

Sorry for the lengthy post. I hope you will give these minis a try. As I mentioned before, I will be sharing more ways to utilize 12x12 inches papers to  create fun and cute projects in my upcoming posts.

Have a great day!
