Writing pad with magnet

Hello.
I`s Monika here.
Today I would like to show you a tutorial for a writing pad with magnet. To decorate this writing pad I used the Wedding Collection Kit.

I used pearlized cardstock from the wedding kit to cut out all the leaves and branches. They look lovely, so delicate and bright.

And now I will show you how I made my writing pad with magnet.
First cut out a 16x14,5cm piece of 1mm cardboard and 20x18,5cm piece of handmade paper. Fold all sides of handmade paper, then cut out the corners.

Use your favourite glue to adhere the main part of the cardboard and handmade paper. Then adhere all sides, use the bone folder to make them completely plain.

Cut out a 15x14cm piece of magnetic mat and adhere it with double-sided tape to the back of the writing pad.

Cut out three pieces of patterned paper: 15,5x14cm, 4x13cm and 4x12cm. Cut out all frames, leaves and other embellishments you want to use.

Cut out leafy lace into pieces. Using the crafting knife or distressing tool, distress all sides of the patterned paper.

Adhere ditressed patterned paper to the front of the writing pad, bend edges a little more with your fingers.

Adhere narrow pieces of paper, the frame and the post-it note. Then add some flowers.

Use leaves and lace as a filler to the flower cluster. Finish the writing pad with some pearls and sequins.

Shagun Envelope Tutorial - Dimensional Gift Envelopes for cash gifts!

Hello,

This is Ujjwal and today I am sharing a tutorial on how to make a dimensional gift envelope or a shagun envelope. Cash gifts are pretty common in India, especially at weddings, so I thought it would be fun to create a dimensional envelope using The Wedding Collection Kit.

And here's how the back side looks like. I added a pearl with twine to the flap for little more interest.

And here's how I made it.
Start with a 9.75" X 7.5" piece of cardstock. I used the beautiful pearl cardstock from "The Wedding" Kit.
Score and cut as per the template below.

This is how the cardstock will look like after scoring.

At this point, you can decide how to decorate and what kind of closure you would want for the back flap of the envelope. I decided to give the flap a simple triangular cut and a velcro closure but you can use decorative dies, laces or whatever else you fancy. Instead of velcro, you could use a magnetic or a ribbon closure.

Fold the envelope and glue the bottom flap so that it forms the envelope shape like this

And then decorate and embellish as you like. I used the pattern papers from "The Wedding" Collection, some mulberry flowers and pollens and liquid pearls to decorate the front. I left the back simple with a little twine and pearl add on.

I hope you enjoyed this project and tutorial!
Thank you for visiting here today!

Wedding Shadow Box by Shilpa

Hello Everyone,
 Shilpa here,

Hope you are enjoying gorgeous creations by Papericious design team this month with newest Wedding Scrapbook Kit.

I would like to share with you a wedding Shadow box which I enjoyed creating with this new kit!!

Papericious Wedding scrapbook kit comes along with this big box and I decorated it with Wedding theme in mind.

here is the making process...
First, I applied white gesso at all edges of box. Let it dry completely.

Next I cut out design paper according to the size of front cover and attached with red double sided tape.

At all edges of box , I applied Aged Mahogany distress ink with Papericious blending tool.

I just arranged layout on the box to get an idea, clicked the picture on my phone, after that I started creating similar layers.

I've used one of the beautiful photo of couple from Papericious Wedding Scrapbook kit. I chose 3 design papers from kit, cut them according to required size and arranged them in the backside of photo.

I've also used diecut doily for which I used pink paper from kit to add in between layers, here.
For more interest adhered ribbon, flowers, pearls.

I've layered Papericious white lace flower and at the corner Adhesive button.

Lovely lace butterfly is one of my favourite from kit!

inside the box, I adhered white satiny paper to left and right side.
I also created shelves according to my wish.

Awesome image of this couple is cut from design papers from Wedding scrapbook kit. I attached it inside one shelf with 3d foam adhesive. For more interest, added hearts, adhesive button, flower and "happy" word.

For this part, I chose flower design and bicycle cut out, and butterfly!

here, I filled small bottle with pearls and sequins, that comes with kit, kept that bottle inside!!

and this is last part...adhered couple's image, pink flower, lace, hearts and word sentiment.

this is full view inside the box...
