Mini photo album

Hello Friends!!!!

What fun it could to treasure the memories of a short holiday, so i come up with a mini album which can easily accommodate 12- 14 pictures and super easy to create.
Here you go.....
For creating the mini album i used Papericious Lets go pattern paper and adorn it with beautiful quotes from the paper collection and Papericious Chippies.
The finished album measures 6- 1/4 x 5-3/4 and consists 7 pages on each side of accordion fold.

For creating this album i cut 4 pieces of white textured cardstock 5-1/2 x 12 and join them together from the longer side, than gave then a accordion fold and adhered it inside the album cover.
The album cover is created using white textures cardstock 5-3/4 x 12 and finally matted all the pages  with pattern paper form the collection.

Hope you like my work for today and would make one for yourself. For all the supplies used please do visit Papericious Blog.

Thank you

Papericious Pattern Chipboard - Arrows

Scrapbook Layout using Let's Go

Hi friends,
Welcome to today's post where I will be featuring the Travel themed Paper Pad called LET'S GO and the chippies by Papericious. I have created a very simple layout using the papers and it was so much fun to combine the different layers and chip board elements.
I layered a few different papers on top of each other and then two photos on top. I fussy cut come pieces from the pattern papers and used them as embellishments.

I have also used the cloud shaped chipboard and painted them with blue Chalk paint. The arrows and few other chipboard embellishments are also painted with chalk paints and to finish the layout I used an alphabet die to cut out LET's GO and painted them in the same colours.
This pattern paper is a great one to have and can be used for various projects. The Design team has created wonderful inspiration projects and do check them out as well.

hope you liked my take on the paper pad....

thanks for stopping by

Cloudy Days

Life is an Adventure!!

Hi lovely people,
Today I will be sharing with you a pretty suitcase shaped card along with a shadow box I designed for a couple who loves to travel.
I have used the Papericious Let's Go paper pack .
I love this pack as it has a perfect blend of colors and prints for all your travel related projects.
So sit back and enjoy ...
First is the suitcase shaped card.

Next I made the shadow box. The walls of the shadow box are covered with the red diamond print from the Let's Go paper pack.

Here I have taken glass domes and stuck them on little fussy cut images from one of the patterns.
This pack has some lovely quotes and here I have fussy cut this one and covered it with mod podge dimensional to give a glass look.
Here is the complete look of the shadow box.
Hope you like all the little elements put together and get inspired to create one for you. And do checkout our ongoing challenge, you still have time to share creations with us.

Mini travel Journal

Hi lovely people,
Today I would be sharing an easy travel journal using the Papericious Let's Go paper pack. I love travelling ,clicking pics and thought a mini interactive travel journal would be a fun way to document the journey. So sit back, relax and enjoy the process.
I made a 4 x 6 inch mini journal as these are easy to handle, infact you can make different ones for the various places you would be planning to visit and I am sure you would always cherish filling these.
I started with taking coordinating cardstock for the internal pages of the journal to the Let's Go paper pack. The cover of the mini journal is made using the kraft cardstock as its thick and sturdy for the journal.
Two pieces for cover pages and one for the spine. Round the corners of both the cover pages.
For the spine score at 1/2 inch. I have made three scored divisions to accommodate 5-6 pages. I would be using paper cord to tie all the pages to the spine. Punch holes at both the ends of the spine.
Use a good adhesive/tacky tape to join the spine and both cover and end page of the journal.

For the internal pages score in the center and punch holes in symmetry to the spine's punched holes.

Next step is lining the base pages and outer cover of the journal. I love this paper pack, it has very apt prints for the travel theme.

For binding the pages to the spine, pass the paper cord/jute cord from the inside towards the outer spine and knot it. Its the easiest method of binding the pages to the spine.

Hope you get inspired by this mini travel journal and do share your versions with us.
