Photo Folio ft. Tranquil

Hello friends!
I believe, Photo Folio is a great way to preserve your memories, and so, this is Nandini back with a Photo Folio ft. Tranquil, a beautiful NEW Paper Collection from Papericious. The designs of this Paper Collection are super awesome and deserves a lot of attention.

For the folio, I have used Light Brown Craft Paper for the base and layered it with White Cardstock. Before sticking the White Cardstock, I distressed the edges to give a subtle look. Then I adhered the design paper to make it more attractive. The additional motifs in the coordinating Cut and Create Embellishment Sheets are a perfect addition to its beauty. Use of Melt Art Powder and Black Gesso on the 3D Shaker Chippie Frame - Memories added to the glittery effect to this folio's front. The addition of some flowers to the decor were like a cherry on the top. I have designed this folio with lots of tags and pockets.

Inspiration Projects

As Valentine's Day is coming within some days, so I am here with the perfect gift to impress your valentine.
I have designed a Mixed Media Heart.
Procedure:
First, I have taken a 3D Shaker of Heart design, but instead of making a Shaker, I decided to go for Mixed Media.
Paint it with Black Papericious Gesso. Let it be dry completely.
Stick Wooden Embellishments (whatever you have in your stash, you can arrange in it in a beautiful composition)
Once again, paint it with Black Gesso then let dry.
Give some metallic look with any of wax polish available.

Mixed Media Journal Cover

Hello Crafty souls!
I am back with a mid week inspiration showcasing the Journal Books.
These are available in 2 variants - 5x6" & 8x8" with 10 flaps inside. Priced at ₹320 & ₹480 these are truly value for money.
The thick chipboard pages make it desirable for use with all sorts of papercrafts - create a scrap book layout , layer it with pattern papers & can be use as a mini album or a baby book.
I played around with my supplies to make a mixed media journal cover. These books are spiral bound & open flat, making it easy to work on every single page.
I started by covering with a layer of Black Gesso (the page did not warp or soak at all!)
Used Modelling paste with to create patterns with stencils for textures. I also used the scrap chipboards from the Chippis packaging & trim them to desirable sizes on the layout. All the elements were glued with Gel Medium & covered with Black Gesso. Once dry I used metallique wax pastes.
Some more close ups -
Thanks for stopping by & happy crafting!
Love,
Tanvi.
