You & Me - Explosion Box Card ft. Blooms & Berries

Hello people!
DT Member, Shweta here today to share with you all a new project with the process video.
I have made an explosion box card with a 3D House Box element inside, featuring the new Blooms and Berries Patterned Paper Pack from Papericious. Check out the pictures.

This is a beautifully designed paper pack with lots of gorgeous floral and fruity elements in it and a great color palette. A co-ordinating Cut and Create Embellishments Sheet is also available with Papericious, which has a lot of elements that can be fussy cut and used. As a result, the project turned out so beautiful!

This is a large box measuring 6"x6". Inside the box is a cute 3D house shaped box with door on one side and two windows each on the other three sides. The box opens and can be used to put treats in it, or one can simply put battery operated tea lights in it for that extra gorgeous effect, like I did.

All the flowers used in the project are handmade using the Papericious Sigma Cardstock. I find this cardtsock perfect for making flowers as it isn't too heavy nor too light. Just perfect for the flowers to hold the shape.

Isn't it beautiful? Tempted to make one for yourself? No worries. I have a detailed process video for you, right here.

Quick Layout with The Vintage Attire

Hello friends!
Erum here today with the quick layout. I used on of the papers from The Vintage Attire Paper Pack. I also used a panel from Wooden Paper Pack.

I started by making by base, which I did with the help of a stencil and gesso. I actually dont have texture paste, so what I do is add baby powder to gesso to make it more "texture-y".

Next I stamped several florals, watercoloured them roughly and fussy cut them out.
Then I cut a panel from the Wooden Paper Pack and popped it onto the base.

On top of the panel, I popped up the photo and arranged the fussy cut flowers. Then I added some white chippis as embellishment. They matched flawlessly and looked so good.

After I was done adhering all the elements, I added tons of white and black paint splatters and then popped up the butterflies and the die cut sentiment.

This layout came together so fast. The only steps that took a bit of time for letting the gesso air dry and then fussy cutting the images.
I hope you like the layout. If you were wondering, the photo is of me and my nephew. We were cleaning out roof, hence the messy hair, and snapped a a couple of photos.
That is all from my side.
Thank you for stopping by♥
