Pop Up Gift Card Holder Card

Good Morning!
Choosing the right gift is always a difficult task, despite (or rather because of!!!) so many online & in store gifting options nowadays. Gift cards have made this task so much convenient. So today I have a quick handmade card which doubles as a gift card holder too.
This one measures 5.5" x 4.25" & holds a gift card that pops up when opened.
Let me quickly take you through the steps to make this -

Trim the Cardstock to 5.5" X 8.5", score at 4.25"on the 8.5 side. This is the card base.
Trim the polka dot pattern paper to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" & glue it to the front of the card base.
Use some die cuts & fussy cuts to embellish the card as you wish.
  • To make the pop up holder we need 2 pieces of pattern paper measuring 5"x5" scored at 1/2", 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" and 4"

Using a bone folder crease the scored lines & make 2 rectangles by gluing the right edge of the 1/2"tab.To make the holder adhere tape to the ends only. Attach to the second box.

This is a fun way to give gift card holders & by changing the papers can be made for all occasions. I always have a few of these handy.

Photo Frame ft. Little Miss Muffet - Tutorial

Hello People!
Chirali this side with a quick photo frame tutorial from Papericious' Little Ms. Muffet Paper Pack.
Here it is:

Let's start with the tutorial:

I cut 1 piece of millboard and 1 of white paper of 12.25"x12.25" and selected one sheet from Little Ms. Muffet which will work as a main background of the frame.
Then I cut two millboard pieces shaped as shown in picture to make a frame stand. You can go for simple rectangle too.
Stick them to white paper and cut the edges as shown and glue them to the millboard.

I attached the stand with brads to the big millboard piece in the centre.

And added one small stripe below the stand too, as shown in picture.

Front will look like this.
Now glue white paper on the board and then patterned paper on the white paper.

Cut 9 white papers measuring 3.25"x3.25" and round 2 alternate edges of each. Cut 9 patterned papers measuring 3"x3" inches of your choice.

The basic frame will look like this. I added each white and patterned paper with the help of foam tape.
Time to decorate! My final outcome is here:

Some close-ups:

I have added so many fussy cut elements to decorate the same. I can now add 6 pictures in this frame, leaving 3 as a decorated parts.

I hope you liked it.

Chirali :)

Magnetic Shadow Box Frames

Good Morning!
Are you enjoying all the adorable inspiration with the baby packs? Well, I have some more today!
I have made Shadow Box Frames using one 12x12 sheets from the Star Gazer & Little Miss Muffet Paper Packs. The size of the frames is 6x6 inches & these can be used as nursery decor or even as magnetic frames. Combine these paper packs & one can even have a baby milestone wall in the nursery.
The Star Gazer Pack is a lovely one, I like the contrasting papers & patterns, team them with fussy cut pictures from the element sheet & use them in cards, albums or invites!
Here I have adorned the frames with Chippis from the Ohh Baby set.

The tiny elements are versatile and can be used to make envelopes, cards, scrapbooks or anything.
