Love in Paris

Dear Friends

Paris is considered to be the Romance Capital of the world. Whether it is enjoying the atmosphere of Montmartre, the joy of walking along the Seine river or doing the night cruise in Seine or watching the sunset from atop the Eiffel Tower, Paris boasts of romance in every way.

This creation of mine is an Ode to Romance, Ode to the lovely city of Paris… And the idea of this “Ode” came to me when I looked at the  pattern paper collection from Papericious, aptly names “Love in Paris”. I was so mesmerized by the sheer look of the design, the romantic elements of the patterns and the backdrop of Eiffel Tower and Seine that I immediately thought of making this lovely explosion box – dedicated to love and romance

In this box, I have used miniature model of Eiffel tower along with  roses to make this perfect and unique romantic gift for the one you so deeply love

Thanks to Papericious for this lovely stack… Now you can let your creative juice pour out and make your own romantic and crafty masterpieces.

I hope you all will love this work.
Have A Nice Day!!!

Little Star "MY BABY'S FIRST YEAR MEMOIR"

 Dear friends
A new baby in house always bring cheer in the whole family. The first baby cry, first word, first step, lullabys – every small incidence of the first year of the baby is a memory parents cherish throughout their lives. So let’s celebrate this best year in a parent’s life by presenting a baby photo multifold card/album for the first year.

Inspired by the thoughtful pattern paper by Papericious, called “Little Stars”, this small album can cover the entire first year milestone of your little one. The “Little Stars” by Papericious has a collection of neatly compiled boy and girl theme papers, stars and planets, die-cut embellishments and neat headers to define the milestones for the first year of your little one. In fact in order to create this album this pattern paper collection is perhaps all that you may require (besides a bit of your creative bone and some craft tools).

Let me explain you how to create this lovely “Baby’s First Year" memoir with the “Little Stars” pattern paper from Papericious

Step 1 : Card Construction
Make a multi fold(4 fold) card using cardstock and distress the edges.
Size is 5.5"x7.5"(one fold size) and later i added one top fold at the last page ...

Step 2 : Title Page/Cover
On the Title page, I have created a background of a pattern paper and used oval die. The baby carriage and also the little baby clothes embellishments are created.
Step 3 : Inside Pages
On the inside pages, I have used different pattern papers from the “Little Stars” stack and embellished it with Papericious die cuts (which is also a part of this stack). The milestone titles (like First Smile, First Step, First Tooth etc.) are also part of the stack.
Step 5 :Back Cover
Step 5 : Decorating using embellishments
Now you can use some embellishments from your collection (like boat, aeroplane etc.) which would highlight the baby theme and make your creation look personalized and unique.

Step 6 : Finishing with Baby’s Pics
No movie is complete without the HERO. In this keepsake album, your BABY is your HERO. So go ahead and click nice pics of your baby (or search for these in your collection), get them developed in the desired size and paste it at the designated space… And lo… your album is complete. A prized possession and a thing you would cherish while you grow old.
I hope you all like this creation and would love to hear some comments!!!
Have A Nice Day!!!

Mixed Media " Selfie Frame" using "Often" Papercicious Pattern Paper

  Dear Friends
In this era of smart phones, we all would surely have taken a lot of solo or group selfies. We would have also gloated over our photographic abilities, shared our mesmerizing selfie with our friends and family members over FB, Instagram or What's App and perhaps repeated it over and over again. But most of these lovely pictures would have remained imprisoned in chat backups or in our SD cards. Sometimes not even in our memory.
Today I present you a dedicated SELFIE FRAME to immortalize your best selfie in this hand crafted and unique way.
This lovely creation was on my mind since long and on this X-mas day, I thought I should encourage the crafter in you to present this creation to yourself in the new year.
Made in a mixed-media layout format, using guesso, modeling paste, spray and lot of decorations, the Selfie Frame gets even more unique by using exquisite Papericious "Often" Die-cut embellishments -- something unique from Papericious and which really inspired my crafty bones to undertake this creation.
Let me give you step wise procedure of this creation.

Step 1.Take any pattern paper of your choice and apply a layer of gesso

Step 2.
Take some torn paper and then again apply a layer of gesso

Step 3
After applying a layer of gesso , heat it and then take stensil and use modelling paste
and sprinkle some dry glitter
and again after heating i had sprayed lindy's spray and color blooms
and after spraying i had embellish them
with papericious dies and buttons from "often" collection
and flowers from my stash

So let your best selfie of 2015 be on this Selfie Frame and remain in your living room or study wall throughout 2016 as a remembrance of the year gone by.
Or make this as a unique new year gift for the one whom you want to thank for being with you in 2015.
Merry Christmas and a Happy and Crafty New Year 2016
