THE ARTY DESK ORGANISER – LOVING LIFE

The Great Sai Baba, who I revere, once said –
“Life is a song - sing it. Life is a game - play it. Life is a challenge - meet it. Life is a dream - realize it. Life is love - enjoy it.”
And to love the small elements of life, I am presenting today an ARTY DESK ORANIZER…

Imagine your husband’s work desk… Messed up papers and files. Pens and things scattered around…taking him endless hours to rearrange… Don’t you wish to make it more organized. That too with something which reflects your character and represents your love. Something which makes him remember you all the time – even when he is deeply engrossed with work routine, meeting clients and attending to calls. Yes this Desk Organizer can do just that.

Made from MDF board, this arty desk organizer is ornate with one of my most liked collection of pattern papers – “Infinity” collection from Papericious. Papericious is changing the way I do my crafting. With designs and colors to titillate that crafty bones, this latest collection is just awesome. The vintage look of the patterns make the product stand out. Besides the pattern paper, use of Papericious theme buttons and die cuts embellishments add that modern flavor to the vintage look of the organizer.

Besides the latest collection of Papericious, the desk organizer is beautified with lovely quotes of ‘life’, floral die-cuts, trinkets, distressed and glass glitter effect and use of diamond dust.

I am sure your crafty bones will also get tinkled on seeing this presentation. So go ahead and create YOUR REFLECTION on your loved one’s work desk.

Do let me know how you liked it and do feel free to ask any query on this creation.

Have a wonderful weekend

Gift Box and Envelopes!

Hello, crafty friends!
This is Hussena here to share with you some inspiration using the Papericious Vintage Rosewood Stack and the Papericious Dusk and Dawn Collection. These are our earlier releases and have some of the most beautiful papers in the collections. When I saw the Vintage Rosewood papers, it was love at first sight. It has the most gorgeous woodgrain background along with vintage flowers. I had so much fun creating with these papers.

Without further ado, here's a look at what I have created. First up, is a top note box perfect for gifting those small trinkets/chocolates to your family and friends, all elegantly packaged.

Next up are envelopes with a bordered band perfect for gifting on any occasion, the top envelope is made from the Vintage Rose Wood collection and I have used handmade flowers and die cuts on it to give it a rich elegant look and the bottom purple envelope is from the Dusk and Dawn collection ...I have done a bit of stenciling on it using Wendy Vecchi embossing paste mixed with Ripe Persimmon Distress ink to create a beautiful background. The envelopes are further embellished with handmade flowers and foliage.

And here's a look at the trio of the gift box and envelopes I have made using the two paper collection.Aren't they so pretty :) Do let me know how you liked my gifting ideas's by leaving me your comments/suggestions..Looking forward to your reviews on it !!
Have a nice day everyone. :)

TAG YOUR EMOTIONS

Hi Friends

Today I present to you my latest creation called “Tag Your Emotions”. It is a multi fold tag which can be attached to any gift to heighten the effect of the gift.

The top of the tag has a heart shaped cutout and a flower, imbibing the spirit of the gift – sharing of your emotions and love for the receiver. I have used Papericious pattern paper -Vintage Rosewood, given a torn effect and highlighted it with use of distress and raised embossing effect. The Papericious pattern papers’ colors and patterns are so unique that these can be used so efficiently is such display of your deepest emotions. The complete collection - florals, patterns, polka dots et. all. is just lovely.

The Tag can be opened on both sides and have space for your personal notes to the person to whom you are giving the gift. You can also paste a few photographs representing your memoirs with the receiver. Use of lovely Paperi
cious stack alongwith laces, die-cuts of corners, barn fencing, metal trinkets etc., make the booklet unique in design and exquisite in look.

So let the New year 2016 be the beginning of a special relation. Use such design to tag with your New Year Gift and pour out your emotions to that cherished person in your life.

I hope you all will like my work.
Have A Nice Day!!!

Thanksgiving Day-Papericious Orange Fall

Hi Friends

Its time of the year where you meet all your relatives, friends and well wishers and exchange gifts. Be it Diwali in India or Thanksgiving in the US, the season of exchanging gifts and saying thanks to all your loved ones for being in your life, is here.

Inspired by this lovely custom and  the New Pattern Paper-“Orange Fall” by Papericious, I am presenting here a Mixed Media layout for such an occasion. Made from acid free paper and using the paper stack “Orange Fall ” by Papericious, this layout also uses various innovative techniques of paper crafting like torn-effect, swirl die cuts, stamping with heat embossing, modeling paste with inka gold and distress inks, leaf stamping with distress ink and glossy accents and diamond dust and encrusted heat embossing, fall ribbon, tags.

These techniques and the lovely pattern paper have combined to give a unique pristine look to this layout – which can be a perfect gift to anyone to say thanks for being in our life .

I hope you all will like my work and would love to hear some comments

Have A Nice Day!!!

Love and Regards

Gift Envelope and a Trinket box with the newly launched paper packs

Hello Everyone,

I'm Manu here and I'm sure you must have had a look of how gorgeous the new release from Papericous is, and also the awesome projects made by the DT members using the 'My Golden Garden' and 'The Vintage Attire' collections. The Vintage Attire premium stack is perfect for a blend of mixed media and the My Golden Garden is a paradise for flower lovers like me.

I have made two projects to be showcased using the lovely new collection, and both are perfect for gifting! The first project is a Gift Envelope which will make a nice option to gift out Shagans and the other is a Trinket box which is something very pretty and perfect to keep small keepsakes or even it can be loaded to gift out chocolates or anything fancy !

Lets check out the first project.

I totally love the idea of gifting out the shagan's in pretty handmade envelopes and add a personal touch to your gifting( and I prefer giving out cash since the recipient can then get anything of choice)

I have used papers from both stacks of the new release and it's really very difficult to pick up which one is the best of both!! They both are totally yummy!!!

Here's a closeup of the envelopes.

Couple of them together.

Here's the Trinket box made from the 'My Golden Garden' collection. The calm and gorgeous flowers in this collection is something to die for!

Well, running the scissors thru these papers were seriously involved a lot of efforts!

This trinket box is perhaps the more gorgeous one I have made till date!

Another view of the trinklet box!!

I hope you all liked my creations as much as I loved making them.
Do let me know your feedback and the september release is definitely a must have in your collection. I'm surely gonna go ahead and get me a few packs!!!

Lets wait for the next months release which will soon be revealed and I'm sure that the new one will rock too!!!

Happy Crafting!
Manu
