Now lets move on to my creation:
Since Father's Day is just around the corner, I decided to recycle my
Iphone box which I had been saving for quite some time and turn it into a beautiful gift box. I was extremely lucky that I had a wonderful masculine collection from
Papericious called
"The Gentleman" in my stash, and it was just perfect for what I wanted to make.
I have used the pattern papers from this collection to cover the lid of the box after distressing the edges, and decorated the top with the fussy cut embellishments from the die cut sheets, Papericious grey chippis and some stenciling with Papericious modelling paste. The fussy cut embellishments have been layered in a cluster and this forms the focal point of my project. I have also added a little cheese cloth underneath for added texture and finished off my project with some black enamel dots and white Nuvo drops.
I also used some pattern paper on the insides and the back of the box so that it pulls everything together. Hope you liked my recycled project and will be inspired to create something for this challenge.
Here are some pictures of my project with few close ups.
SUPPLIES USED:
Now let's have a look at what Nandini has created on the Go Green concept.
Hello everyone!
Nandini here, back with the an Altered Art Project which I have created using a trash cookie box.
I have used different mixed media mediums from
Papericious to create this vertical round box.
First, I covered the box with waste twine (Sutli) and coloured it with
Papericious White Chalk Paint. Then I created a rustic look using different colour mediums specially the
Spray Colours called
Spritzz and Waxes. The
Chippis and embellishments have been arranged in a beautiful composition at the centre of the box. All the flowers are handmade from the
Vellum Sheets by Papericious.
Hope you all liked my creation!
HAPPY CRAFTING!
SUPPLIES USED:

Priti
