Pop up card

Hi everyone!

Welcome back, this is me Priyanka and I have a beautiful inspiration for you to kick start your creative week. Featuring the BOSS BABE paper collection by Papericious take a look at this gorgeous pop up card.

With the motif bundle it's really easy to put together a beauteous layered card in just a few minutes.

For the pop up inside I have used two layers.

The first one that you see at the back is a zog zag fold pop up. I took a step of cardstock that measures 2.5x8 inches, scored at 2,4,6 8 inch side and then I folded diagonally on the smaller side. Cut off the hinge from the middle two sections and folded back the diagonal hinge on the outer two sections.

Stick this to the far out side of the card so that your have enough space to stand your Elements on top of the pop up.

Take out the elements you like from the motif bundle and stick it on top of the pop up making sure nothing comes out when you fold the card.

For the second layer of pop up, I cutl a small strip of cardstock that measures 1.25x5 inches, folded on half on the longer side and folded diagonally on the smaller size. Fold back the hinges and stick on the front parallel to the back layer of pop up.

Stick the ephemera to this later to complete the scene. I hand also added a chair to the back later with a small parallel fold pop up strip that measures 0.75x3 inches. Score at 0.5,2,2.5 on 3 inch side. Then a added a 3x4 inch booklet to the inside of the card to write a message for the recipient and made a brad closure to make it stay shut.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the card size. It measures 5x7 inches and I added a ribbon closure for my card since the pop up inside makes it bulky. But it can still go in a flat envelope through post.

I hope you like this card. I am gonna give this to my friend on her 38th birthday. Let me know who will be the one for you???

Thanks
Happy crafting!!!
