Hello friends! Erum here today with a super quick and pretty card.
Papericious fabric flowers and chipboard elements. Card by Erum Tasneem - @pr0digy0
For my card today I have used one of the beautiful flowers by Papericious and a few chipboard elements.
Instead of using a pattern paper, I decided to use a cardstock so the elements are the focus of the card.
I added tons of white splatters to my background to balance my white flower and the elements.

I added a stip of lace punch border to add more to the feminine look of my card and placed my stamped sentiment on it.
I heat embossed my sentiment on to black cardstock so that it stands out.

I coloured my chipboard embellishments with White Gesso using my finger and that added to the "hairy" texture.

In the end I added a few silver sequins for some bling and I was done.
That is all for today.
I hope you liked my card, it didn't take me long to make this.
Do give this look a try. It's quick and the result is great too.
hugs and love,
Erum

7:00 am Irit Shalom Designs 0 Comments

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit from Irit Shalom's Designs is here today and I am going to share a full step by step Mixed Media canvas tutorial made with the most gorgeous new and just released Indie Chic Papericious collection.
This is a project I made for this blog post using the flat canvas, Papericious paper collection and chipboards, left over tissue paper and a lot of art mediums.

Here you can see this canvas without the staged photo and to see more details.

And before I move to my step by step tutorial here are some close- ups:

And now for the full tutorial:

1.Paint the flat canvas with black Papericious Heavy gesso and let it dry. Tear a piece of cardstock from Indie Chick collection to cover the painted canvas as shown.

2. Hand cut squares from the second Indie Chick cardstock and glue them over the canvas as shown.

3. Paint the Papericious chipboard pieces with black acrylic paint. The #1 is half of the Papericious #1 chipboard negative that was left after I used it on another project.

4. Use translucent embossing paste and a stencil to add texture to the flat black chipboard.

5.Glue the painted chipboards over the canvas as shown. Glue torn white tissue pieces around the chipboard shapes and let the liquid glue dry.

6. Spray the canvas with black mist.

7.Hand cut a fee feathers from another cardstock and then paint a few chipboard shapes with the similar dark red paint.

8.Glue the feathers, the painted chipboards and the hand cut sentiment (from the same delicious paper collection) as shown.

9.Add Crackle Glaze medium around the canvas and a bit over the tissue .  Cover the paper title with glaze too. Let it dry.

10.Spray the finished canvas with gold mist all around. Add Papericious sequins inside the #1 chipboard using Glossy Accents as your glue for the sequins.

I hope that you like my Mixed Media canvas and my small tutorial.

Trendy Cards using Azealian Paper Pack and Alphabets Chipboards

11:32 am Priya 1 Comments

Hello crafty peeps!
It's Priya here from PriyaNPapers! I am here to bring you another round of inspirations for the latest June release. Today I am showcasing Azealian Paper Pack. This is one of a kind and super trendy paper pack with such a wacky color combos of Yellow, Blues, Black and Grey! Along with it, I am also demonstrating how we can use new Alphabet Numeral Chipboards.
I couldn't stop myself and made 4 cards including 2 shaker cards. Here is the spread of my cards along with the supplies I used.
Before I get started, I just want to give a brief overview of alphabet chipboards. It's a single sheet that contains all the alphabet and numerics. Since vowels are used often in words, we have extra vowels in the sheet. You can make as many words as you like. I made HUGS, FRIEND, LOVE and YOU words to use in my cards. But you can make more as per your project.e.g. PARTY, HI, I LOVE YOU, WISH, HB2U, MY LOVE, etc.
Card 1 : HUGS
For this card, I combined the Yellow stripped pattern papers from the Azealian paper pack and made a shaker card. I heat embossed the alphabets HUGS with gold embossing powder. For the shaker, I used Yellow Papericious sequins and also added some frosting powder for extra shimmer. Here is a closer shot of the shaker. Isn't the frosting powder looking super cool in shaker?
Card 2 : YOU are my kind of crazy!
For this card, I matched the blue grey geometric pattern paper with little blue hearts over black background pattern paper. I kept the design simple and made it more trendy by giving it a V cut to match with the geometric pattern paper.
Here is a closer look at the YOU word I made using new chipboards. I colored the alphabets with black zig markers and once it's dry, I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. If you have black embossing powder, you don't need to color the chipboards.
Card 3 : I adore you FRIEND
This is a tall 9x4 inches card. For this card, I diecut 5 circles at different places and adhered alphabets FRIENDS inside each circle. I loved the way, chippies natural color was matching with the pattern papers.
Card 4 : LOVE
This is my second shaker card I made from Azealian paper pack. This time, I picked up blue/grey strokes paper and matched up with tiny blue hearts pattern paper.
I heat embossed the chipboards with white embossing powder and also added frosting powder inside the shaker. I adhered the word LOVE outside of the shaker element for a change unlike HUGS card where chipboards are inside the shaker element.
Here is a closer look at the shaker.
I hope you liked all the cards I made using Papericious newly release Azealian Paper pack and Alphabet-Numeral Chipboards.

A Simple & Colourful Layout using Indie Chic

Layout using Indie Chic Collection by Papericious. Made by Erum Tasneem - @pr0digy0
Hello friends :)
Erum here from VIBGYOR Krafts. I have a simple and colourful layout to share with you using the beautiful Indie Chic collection.
Layout using Indie Chic Collection by Papericious. Made by Erum Tasneem - @pr0digy0
I started off with one of the dream catcher papers from the collection. I applied tons of gesso to the background so the dream catchers in the background look almost like watermarks.
When the gesso was still wet, I rubbed in some Crystal Clear glitter on to my background and then brushed off the extra.
I kept the base aside to dry and came back to it after a while to add some watercolouring in pinks, yellows, blues and teals.

After my watercolour was dry, I started stamping randomly using black ink and a couple of background stamps by Kaisercraft,
I also added a lot of black paint splatters.

I went ahead an inked my dream catcher chipboard with Distress stains and then clear embossed it.
I think I shouldn't have done that because it made the colour darker instead of brighter.
You will see how it actually is suppose to look like if we apply glossy accents later in the post.

The quotes and journaling cards in the paper pack are great. I thought this went perfectly with my layout since I am making it for myself.
I am not really a photo person so I took another image from the paper pack of a beautiful drawn lady with flowers n her hair.

This sentiment is also available in the paper pack and gels perfectly with my LO.

Here you see the chipboard word "Enjoy" looking vibrant and not so dark. It's because I used glossy accent here instead of clear embossing it.

The flowers are also cut out from an ephemera sheet from the Indie Chic paper pack.
I had tons of fun making this. It was super quick and everything I needed was available in the pack.
I hope you like my artsy LO. This is the first LO I have made for myself in all these years.
I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for anything else :)
