Papericious October Challenge- All That Glitters

Hello friends, Sunila and Aditi here bringing you this month's challenge.

This month we are asking you to create a project that Glitters! Use Glitters, Glitter Embossing Powders, Stickles, Glitter Glue, etc and add zing to your projects!
~ Create a project that has any form of glitter mentioned above!
~ You can create any project- Cards, Layouts, Albums, ALtered Items, 3D Projects, Home Decor, etc.
~ Remember that you need to use Papericious products as your main focus to qualifying for the win.
~ The last date for submission of your projects is 9th November 2017 at 11:55 pm IST.
~ Please go through the General Guidelines HERE before you link up your projects. Any project not following the rules will be disqualified and it will not be eligible for the prizes.

 Now onto the exciting part, the prizes! Papericious will be giving away TWO prizes every month.
The DT will be selecting a Merit Winner at the end of every challenge who will stand a chance to win a gift voucher worth INR 500 from the Papericious Store.
We will also be having a Random Winner from all the entries who enter their projects every month to win a Papericious 6 x6" Pattern Paper Pad.

 Everyone gets an equal chance here so whether you are a novice or an experienced crafter, all are welcome to play along with our challenges.

This is a favour box made with Back to Basics Paper Stack and to give it a glittery look, frosting powder has been added on stamped footprints, edges of embellishments and tag.




 And here is our creation:


We've created an MDF Ganesha wall plaque for the coming festive season. We used a pattern paper from the 'Happy Diwali' Paper Pack and stuck it on our base with the Papericious Decoupage Glue. We've used Gold Stickles for our highlights and Party Mix Sequins for the crown. We used the Papericious Dots Moon Yellow Paint and Spritz Hot Paprika Spray to paint the sides. We then added Crystal Clear Powder along the entire border for more glitter.

Diwali Cards - Papericious Diwali Paper Pad

Hi friends,
I am super excited to share my creations using the gorgeous Diwali Themed Paper pad which is loaded with ethnic styles prints. The diyas and the rangoli pattern are so beautiful and can be used in a variety of projects , my team mates have created some amazing stuff and I would encourage you to head over to all the posts and get started with your projects.
This is a LIMITED EDITION paper pad specially designed to cater all your Diwali gifting and decor ideas.


I love making quick and easy cards and this paper pad gives many options to do that. I mainly used the 6x6 paper pad to make my cards. I have 5 cards to share and they are very easy to recreate.
So here we go....

In the cards I have used Diwali chippies and coated them with embossing powder to give them some interest (if you don't have embossing powder, you can simply paint it with a metallic paint to get a similar effect).The pack also comes with two adorable image sheets which can be fussy cut and used on cards, envelopes and tags. Basically all you need is this limited edition release, few basic craft supplies and you can do awesome projects. All the designed can be used to create envelopes and tags too :)

Here are the cards I created and they are super simple yet beautiful.


 

 

 


The things I used to make the cards are :

Sharp pair of scissors
Wet adhesive
Double sided foam tape
Golden Embossing powder

Wrapped treat boxes


Hi there lovely people, 
Lekha here with my new post. With festive season nearing we all look forward to some gifting ideas  and with that comes the search for pretty gift boxes. In my last post  I had showed you options for treat bags and today will be sharing some ready to adorn treat boxes from Papericious. These boxes are sturdy, pre scored and taped so you only have to get your inner creative self at work.  The treat boxes come in variety of shapes.
For the first I am using the circle flap box. Used pattern paper from the Limited edition Happy Diwali paper pack and die cut it using the Spellbinders Swirl Bliss pocket die and embellished it with pearls.


For the top of the box have used the mulberry paper flowers in bright colors. The sentiment in Hindi "shubh diwali" is part of the DIWALI THEME CHIPBOARDS, you have a variety of sentiments to choose from .


 For the second, took cake pie box and used the Back to Basics paper pack. Chevrons are my personal favorite. 
To jazz up a little used lace from my stash with some crystals.
   The "wishes" is cut using the Winnie n Walter Wishes cutaway die .

Diwali cards & Home Decor

Hello Lovely People there !!!
I am back with some gorgeous Diwali cards and home decor created using Papericious Happy Diwali  paper pack.This is a  Limited Edition Paper pattern pad and is perfect for creating cards , tea light lamps and home decor etc.
Here is the Home Decor hanging i created....
For this i cutout a chipboard circle and covered it with pattern paper. On the edges i fan folded the pattern paper and created a ruffled look.For the center i fussy cutout some lamp images and heat embossed the chipis.
I created three tea light cards beautifully adorned with various Diwali Chipis. For the base i used Papercious Cardstocks that comes in various color and are quite sturdy.

Diwali creations with Papericious

Hello ! crafty friends.
Daksha here with my first post as Pepericious Design Team member... sharing Diwali cards, money envelopes, and a gift box for diwali sweets, chocolates or diyas.....perfect solution for Diwali Gifting.
I have used This months LIMITED ADDITION Diwali paper pack,Card stock and Diwali theme chip boards etc in my projects..Papericious Diwali Paper Pack is a Limited edition paper pack with beautiful ethnic prints both in 12'' x12'' & 6''x6''. These papers are strong and sturdy to make your beautiful projects like...bags, boxes or cards. Base pattern paper and images are  from the Diwali pack ..there are many images which we can fussy cut and  use in our projects.


GIFT BOX



Box is totally hand made using papericious Kraft Card stock, cherry red cardstock , Diwali pattern paper and Diwali theme Chip Boards...used modeling paste to give that rays effect. To highlight all chipboard I have used Papericious crystal clear glitter with glossy accent.

Diwali Windchime and Diwali layout or BOTH

Hello people!!
Chirali this side with a very first post as a DT member of Papericious and when it's the first and Diwali is just a few days away, it had to be something special. 

I have two things to share with you for upcoming Diwali to decorate your home, which can be put together and make all the new ONE whole thing. As name suggests, one is Diwali layout and other is a Diwali windchime. 

Here is the mixed media layout:


Diwali is a colourful festival so I have made it quite colourful. This is an inner ring of embroidery hoop. I added a net, glued it to the corners and started heating it with heat gun. As the net was made of plastic, it started melting, stopped when I felt and the design happened. Then added a piece of paper, some cord and some stones. (stones are broken pieces of a dried modelling paste) Then I gessoed everything, added some acrylic paints and finished it with Papericious tempting chalk paints (Duck Egg and Pearl Pink). Finally I decorated it with beautiful newly released chipboards, some flowers from the stash and some colour sprinkles. DONE.

Now, here is the Diwali windchime:



This is an outer ring of an embroidery hoop. The papers are from LIMITED EDITION Diwali pack. They are so gorgeous and perfect for the festival. I made a bunch of houses and hanged it. 

Now, when I have used both the rings, why not to combine it to make one? Here is the look of  a complete hoop:




Now, the trump card!! These houses are closed with clips, you pull it and you can put in a candle, ofcourse a battery operated. You must want to see it!! ;) 


Isn't it perfect to lighten up your house this Diwali?
