Remember we had a fun little giveway over at my post earlier this month on the Papericious blog?

Papericious + Mudra Collaboration Blog Hop - Day 5

Good morning friends!!
Pon Malar here today for the Day 5 of Papericious & Mudra Blog Hop. Don't forget to check the lovely works of our creative team as part of the blog hop :)

I'm happy & excited to be a part of this blog hop & to play along. And I love both Mudra stamps & Papericious collection. I always end up hoarding the pattern paper from Papericious; this is the first time I'm actually using them for crafting, he he ;)

I made 6 cards using Papericious pattern papers & Mudra stamps. And here they are....

♥ Birthday Shaker card

I used Mi Estilo & Pretty Basics pattern papers & sentiment is from Brushed stamp set.
Made a two tiered shaker cake with metal balls & adhered it to a pattern paper.
Reversed the pattern papers for candles & the flame is hand drawn.
Heat embossed the sentiment in white & put them all together.

♥ Happy girls are Prettiest

Used Mi Estilo pattern paper & background is done using Flourish Pattern stamp set.
Fussy cut the elements from Mi Estilo pattern paper.
Sponged distress ink on a white card stock & stamped Flourish Pattern repeatedly & heat embossed using clear EP for the background.

Adhered the elements using foam tape, added few rhinestones & applied glossy accents on the bottles to give a glass finish!!

♥ CAS Floral card

Used Pretty Basics pattern paper & Sentiment Essentials stamp set.
Stamped the flower & leaves using pigment ink & heat embossed with clear EP.

Did the same with the sentiment & adhered the flower & leaves using foam squares.

♥ Dazzling Zinnia & Weaved basket

Used Pretty Basics pattern paper & Sentiment Essentials and Zinnia stamp sets.
Stamped & heat embossed the Zinnia using gold embossing powder.
Used Inka gold in gold to water color the flowers.
Here comes the fun part, I used some inexpensive markers to color the watercolored flowers. (Don't use expensive ones as the golden pigments may spoil the tip!!) The shimmer is just stunning :)

Weaved the basket using strips of Pretty Basics pattern paper.
Put them all together with a fussy cut sentiment.

♥ Gate fold Dad card

Used The Gentleman pattern paper & The man stamp set.
It was an inspiration from a video by Dawn's stamping thoughts & used it to make a Dad's card.
Since I don't have die cut machines, I measured & cut the base card which came out pretty good I think ;)
Actually as a late thought, I have planned to add a photo of my dad on the stamped panel :)

♥ Iris folding dress

Used Mi Estilo & Pretty Basics pattern papers.
I drew the dress on a pattern paper & fussy cut it using a knife.
Used strips of pattern paper to finish the dress using Iris folding technique.

Added few embellishments to finish my card :)

Hello everyone,
Riswana here with you today as a part of the Papericious & Mudra blog hop! I am way too excited about this wonderful collaboration between the brands which are very dear to me!
The July release from both are fabulous & here I'm sharing few projects combining them.

Mini Tag Album:

The "Mi Estilo" pack is filled with girly elements & perfect for a fashionista themed project. There are also two fussy cut sheets included in the pack which makes embellishing super easy! I made a mini tag album measuring 5×3.25".

For the cover, I made a shaker element with the quote from the fussy cut sheet & lots of chunky glitter & crystal beads.

I formed a quote myself for the inside of the cover.. I absolutely love the "Decorative Alphas" stamp set from Mudra. I stamped the letters with pigment ink & clear embossed them..

I added some Vellum pages in between to add more interest..

Here I stamped the quote with Versacolor Champagne pigment ink & heat embossed with Black EP to get this cool molten metal like effect!!

Added some ribbons & trims colored with Distress inks to finish off my project.

Fancy Fold Flip Card:

"The Gentleman" is another beautiful paper pack of this month's release.. It has lovely patterns which co ordinates wonderfully for masculine projects. I made a flip card using the Pattern Papers and the "Raksha Bandan Sketches" stamp set which I designed for Mudra..

I used the sentiment from the fussy cut sheet included in the pack & also the tie & moustache embellies..

On flipping..

I used Zig pens to color the Rakhi. Usually I avoid bling in masculine cards but it's a festival & it definitely calls for some :D
I wanted this card to be a mix of tradition & modern look.. The paper pack & stamp set combo worked perfectly.

Here are two cards using the Pretty Basics Pattern Paper..

I used the Hearts Background Builder Builder stamp set from Mudra & also the sentiment from Raksha Bandan Sketches stamp set..

This is my favorite :) The Zinnia flower stamp from this month's Mudra release is too beautiful! I did some Loose watercoloring with Zig pens & fussy cut..
Sentiment is again from the new release.. I love the big scripty look of it..
Added few sequins to finish off the card.
