papericious gift boxes + tutorial for a card with a box.

Hello! Crafty friends,
Iam sure all of you are in a festive mood since Diwali is just a week away. All of you must be busy in preparations for the big festival. As you all know Papericious has released amazing pre-cut,pre-scored and pre- taped cute gift boxes. They are very easy to make just score on pre- scored lines, no need to put tapes as they are pre-taped in required places....just stick and decorate as per your creativity. These boxes are great as party favour boxes on birthdays, anniversaries or on Diwali.
So here are my cute and easy gift boxes...please be ready for picture heavy post..😊

Now last but not the least...card with a box.

Here is the pictorial for this card....

#. Take a card stock CS 51/2" x81/2"..fold in half at 41/4" on long side.
#. After folding bring into paper trimmer or mark with pencil..1"from the right go down to 2" and cut , now leaving 2" and cut down till 2" .. so we get 2"X2" square. Now basic card is ready..now for the box..
#. For the box base take CS size 6"x6" and score at 2" all four sides
#. For the lid of the box take CS size 3 1/16" X3 1/16" and score at 1/2"  on all four sides..
now cut and fold and stick according to picture..your box is ready.
To fit your box in 2"X2" cut in your card base....you need to trim a little on top two inner sides ...to fit your box..see details in picture. Now your card with a box is ready..you can decorate as per your requirement. Here is my finished card.

Thank you for stopping by..hope you all are still here with me..and liked my work...love n hugs
Daksha.
